Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (guest star Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt has a hard time swallowing Maxine's endless stream of insults. Remove this ad There was so much about this episode that was fantastic. What stole it for me was Eric pleading with Godric - in a way, Godric has left Eric all alone. All other vampires that we know about (on the show - I haven't read the books) are younger than Eric. Pam is the only other vampire that I am aware of that Eric is loyal too - although it's more the other way around. Oh, and Eric nekkid was great too. Must watch that scene again. I hope Jessica doesn't off herself. Rather she should eat Hoyt's mother.

Although, we do need to see much more of Sarah Newlin and Pam before the season wraps up. Love that Jessica and Hoyt are getting plenty of screentime, since they awkwardly remind myself of my relationship with my boyfriend now. Sookie and Eric were really cute together. The best scenes were anything with Maryann, especially her story of those lunatics coming to their God and Tara's "...okay..." afterwards. The Tara-Kidnap scene was epic, but didn't Lafayette think that he just left that crazy bitch in Sookie's house? Jason/Sookie scene made me cry hard. And the final scene with Godric took me over the edge. Even the Arlene/Terry stuff was really cute, I hope Arlene finds love and adore her as a character for comic relief. Nan Flanagan is awesome!

Sookie's naivete is getting kind of old. Wise up already, especially if you're going to be hanging out with vampires. How could a freakin telepath be so naive? She's been hearing peoples' innermost thoughts, which include the nasty things people think but won't say aloud, all her life. I would think that would turn anyone into a cynic, at the very least. Moving on to Maryann. What exactly does she want with Tara? Is she looking to expand her little coven? She apparently had Eggs and Carl when she showed up in Bon Temp. Does she want Tara to move on with them when the time comes? Or maybe she's just a future sacrifice. I'm curious why she seems to want to keep Tara around. Maybe a companion for Eggs?
