The song was 'God's away on business'. I was also totally in love the second he pulled out Mr. Waits. Plus, I liked his movement. He's strong,

Which one was the Tom Waits dancer? And JM was crying during the twins performance?? I FF through the drama, sorry didn't hear. But I remember him crying last year as his daughter? was quite ill. Maybe she is/was one of twins. And I loved the twins, hope one of them makes it through. It would be weird as hell if they both made it through. One of them would have to change color of their hair. This show was far far better than the first two. Montreal really kicks major dancing ass compared to the other cities. Especially in ballroom. |

I LOVED the hoop dancer. LOVED him! For 18, he was really good.
The Tom Waits dancer was the kid with the hat who had that animalistic/organic dance style. If I could track down a You Tube, I would post it. He was BRILLIANT, IMO. |

Right, he was brilliant. But like I said that dancing seems to be his whole persona. He will need to be able to adapt to different personalities, which I
don't know if he is capable of doing.
His name is Gessuri Gaitin, and actually from Calgary. There is one very strange performance video on youtube under the name Gessuri. Can't tell if it is him or not, could be, it is totally out there. here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyhOxkDHfGg Wow, there are links attached to this video, subbody butoh, that has some of the most bizarre performance dancing I have ever seen. On the CTV site, about Jean Marc's +#$%%: Jean Marc and both girls let the +#$%% flow as Jean Marc told a story of his son, who had a twin in utero. "He never will have the chance to experience something like you just did. The bond between you two is crazy," he said, wiping away his +#$%%.And when reviewing the tape, I have to say I liked the cocky guy Jason Noel. He really dance and act like a sexy cocky man. And he gives really good face, even if he isn't the best dancer.

Gessuri was WAY intense. I agree it'll be hard to imagine him doing a Dan Karaty pop routine but his commitment level is scary. Too bad Mia can't
judge with her fiancee on the show now ;-)
Camille is extremely cute. She's got face factor for sure. Definitely some contenders now. And when reviewing the tape, I have to say I liked the cocky guy Jason Noel Is that the guy that Leah kept talking about his ego? Yeah, he can definitely dance and I didn't really find him *that* egocentric but there is something about his demeanor that might be a little tough to sell. |

Ya that was the guy labeled as having a big ego. I think I like him because he is so UNCanadian like. We are all so apologetic and sweet, but he is brash and
cocky. I don't think he has the abilities to make it to top 20, but he would be different from the rest of the crew.
I guess there is like 3 of us watching this show huh? An interview on youtube this morning with Blake, talking about loving to help young dancers. Maybe he isn't such a dick. Not to much information on the show, other than he is judging tonight. But he also said he is putting out a cd, or 'Justin Timberlake' like tunes in a few months.

I'm suffering from the same thing I do every season. Audition shows are mostly boring, and I can't remember very many names. I do like the twins and
Camille, and it looks like a couple of standouts in the next show too. Bring on the top 20 and lets get down to business.

One thing, I am excited about tonights show. Last year the 'finals week' was really really well done. It built some great characters, (Natalie was a
standout) I loved watching EACH judge teaching a routine to the dwindling group. And then getting to watch the big groups performing together. Was very very
cool!
I think that single episode could have been my favorite hour of Canadian television EVER! |

To be far to Gessuri, very few people do well in a Karaty number.
I would LOVE to see him with Sonya. OMG I just got chills thinking of that pairing. Even with Mia, I can see him just killing it and making us all cry. lol |

Last night's episode was awesome. So many familiar faces eh, looks like almost everyone who tried out last year tried again this year. I was all excited
about seeing Cody Bonnell again (baby-faced smooth hip hop from Ontario) but his audition didn't intrigue me as much as last year's. I liked Jeff, the
Ukranian contemporary dancer from Calgary. He has potential. Also enjoyed the hoop guy, he was fantastic. Oh and I like Kim Gingras, Vincent's girlfriend.
Interesting face, seems to have a cool personality. What was up with Mia calling that one dude the best breakdancer she had ever seen? Did we miss a part of
the audition or something?
I agree Heliox, last year's Top 100 episode was really well done. I can't wait for tonight. I have a feeling that the editors are going to stick with the same game plan, and that we'll end up with a top 20 of dancers we've already seen. If I'm remembering correctly, we saw every top 20 dancer's audition last year. Predictions for tonight: Everett, Tatiana, Camille, Austin, Cody, Santé, Shelaina, Corynne (Ringette girl), Jeff, Brook, and Melanie Mah will go far. The Twins will probably make it to the Green Mile for drama. Oh and I didn't include anyone from VanCity or out East because I missed the episode. It's still not on YouTube. |

Yay, they showed Corey tonight in Toronto!
Anyway, I only saw the first half of last night's show, but it seemed SO MUCH BETTER than the first couple of episodes; especially the ballroom people. I hope the second hald is just as good. Oh, and the 18 year old Russian girl who just did a samba solo to hip hip chin chin was awesome. I loved last years finals week (it made me love Natalli), and this year is following that very well. I'm cheering for Camille as well. It was funny because one of my friends is a friend of a friend of Camille or something, and she said that she heard that Camille and Danny broke up, and that Danny, apparently, is a jerk (probably biased ex girlfriend talk). When I saw that they were auditioning together, I thought she must have been wrong, but I guess not; because they said they were not together anymore. I guess the rumor mill can be true. And was it just me, or did Danny get much hotter?

NO... JEREMIAH, and why'd Blake have to call him out on his lack of improvement; it's been only a year! Phillip (and Hok) had two years and they still
sucked at everything.
