If you're too cheap to get him the world's largest machine, get him a remote caddy.
It's the only thing I've gotten in years that I actually use. Electronics are personal and should not be gifted by those on a budget anyway.

I've seen the air cannons at the toy store, without the laser. They make a nice "pop".
How about looking at Levenger, or Duluth Trading. Both have cool stuff...check out the garage gear at Duluth Trading. Does he have a laser level? We have a charger station that my husband rigged from an existing cabinet. But that's a good gift. You could work on one of those digital photo frames for his office, and make different discs for different subject matter - kids, family, etc. Fancy runner's watch? Poker software for pros? Gift certificates kind of suck, but sometimes that's the only way to go, other than asking directly. Good luck with it...I have the same dilemma with my husband. |

Yeah, I've put in some time at Duluth Trading. I wish they would stop sending me their fucking emails, though.
I'm still looking around. |

Another thought would be to take something and make it better? My husband (who's bday is tomorrow) is getting a frame I made for an award he received. It
was a 3 piece award so I had to make a custom shadow box that would hold it as well as the 2 certificates and the pic of him with the prominent person who
presented him with it.

I agree, Levenger has some cool stuff...but maybe it's just b/c I am a book nerd that I dig that stuff. What about one of those swiss army knifes that has
the tools to pick any lock, a flash drive and tooth pick...way cool ;) Missed you guppie!

That was supposed to be quoted. If you squint and go cross-eyed it makes it much easier to pretend it's quoted.

Eurytol wrote:I made it! And it's set up with LED's to showcase the big hunk of etched glass they call an award. It was a huge honor to receive the award and now I made a really cool way to display it in our home so it's not just sitting on a shelf collecting dust. So, it's new and shiny damnit! |

Hey Sid's Girl...have you considered upgrading his phone to a better smart phone (if possible) and having the widget installed that tracks all NFL scores
and highlights? For us Fantasy Football types, having access to that kind of info wherever we are is PRICELESS!!
BTW...I think it's sweet for you to be thinking of your guy. |

We both had cells when we met and social lives for that matter, but once we moved in together we became major homebodies. All of his "friends" are co-workers and I'm done to one really close friend that comes over here to hang out. Wow, we are so pathetic... |
