BTW, no one should take him making it to top 40 as a sign of him being versatile. Remember Dario? Cedric? They sucked at everything, and you wonder how on earth they made it through some of the choreography rounds over others.

I actually didn't think Dario was that bad. It kind of sucked that him and Romina left, because it was quite clear that Tamina/Joey should have been in the bottom 3 and thus booted that week.

Really? I remember he sucked in the first hip-hop he did with Romina (which she killed), and he was supposed to have a lot of hip-hop training (I think his style was a fusion between that and contemporary), and he was very, very out of sync in his second jazz routine (although it might have been Romina's fault; but considering how awesome she was, I doubt it).

I can only imagine what a disaster him doing latin ballroom would have been, or even standard ballroom.

Thanks Mike for the Gessuri audition video; he is such an interesting dancer. I really can't wait to see if he makes top 20 (and if he deserves it, à la not Dario).

And for whoever asked, Corey is a contemporary dancer. I don't know him too well; he's the kind of person who is in so many of your classes and labs that it's impossible to have not exchanged more than a few words with him (all related to school and only school). Considering I had only seen him in heavily science oriented classes, I was shocked to learn (last year) that he is apparently gifted in something so artistic and physical.

I still feel bad for Jeremiah Hughes, though. Despite auditioning 4 times already (5 if he did so for season 6), it's really only been a year since his very first audition for the show. How much do you expect him to improve? Didn't Ashley audition on 4 separate years? He is fantastic in his own style, though.
