The sad thing about making this list is that the Grassy Knoll and the 6th Floor Museum top my list and some of the other things I would add aren't really
in Dallas but near it. I love my home town, but I have to admit, the Dallas Cowboy's are playing right now in Arlington and the old TV show Dallas was
actually filmed at South Fork Ranch which is also outside Dallas. So I will personalize my list to places that I would take Eury when she comes to visit me: 1)
My fav. place to eat - Javier's 2) The coolest place for coffee - White Rock Coffee (and live music) 3) Best place to order a pint - Trinity Hall 4) Best
place for drinks, music and fun - Lee Harvey's 5) Best Shopping - Norhpark Mall

I could do all of LA but I wouldn't know where to start with this consumer oriented ADD city, so I'll try to keep it really local.
The view from Grand View Ave and Palms on a non-smoggy day. (then drive 4 blocks South to...) The exterior for the Munsters house (or was it the Adams Family? I forget). (Then drive a half mile Northeast to...) Mar Vista Elementary where the Dog Town and z-Boys first started revolutionizing skateboarding into what it has become in the last 35 years. (then drive 2 miles West to...) Venice High School which was the exterior school front for the movie Grease, and high school in many other films including American History X. (then drive1 mile West to...) Venice Beach |

I'm from St Paul so I might add the Caves just for fun, but I don't know if most of them are open nowadays. I just used to scramble through them when I was a kid. Or maybe add the Chain of Lakes in general to the list... |
