He should have worked Jeff a bit harder (by admitting to voting for Jessie to stay, for one thing) to ensure he was going to be around for a 3rd. Instead, he fell victim to a perfectly timed lie and one of his alliance members pouting like a bitch and selling him down the river. Oh well. If not for the coup, he would be gone.

He's not a nice guy. Russell's biggest problem is that as soon as he thinks he has the upper hand, he's ready to gladly backstab and screw the very people he's working with. Basically, Russ has delusions of grandeur and it gets him knocked back to reality.
