The woman who helped Steven had way more compassion and tolerance than I ever could. I think his success had to do with the way she went about it. She
focused on positive things and made him feel like he was in charge. I hope he keeps it that way.

I decided to watch this show while I was eating dinner. I almost threw up when the lady was shoveling all those human excrements from that dude's bathroom.
WTF was that? That's not hoarding, that just plain nasty fuck. I don't think he woke up one day and said, today I will hoard my feces because it fills

I felt so bad for that guy living in all that filth. I'm glad to see that he seems to be recovering from his hoarding and isn't sliding back into his
old habits. The organizer played a huge part in that, I think, while the other lady was just holding her hand, going through everything meticulously.

I think that whale was easier to help because he had a 1-2 bedroom apartment filled with junk instead of a multi-storey house filled with junk. Also most of
his stuff seemed to be just garbage instead of stuff that might actually have a purpose or some kind of sentimental value.
I think the other woman didn't want to sell the house. It seems she got her wish. |

Other lady was a c.unt. I think that she continued to ruin that house to punish her husband for leaving her. Since so much of the attic stuff had rat shit and
mold in it I was cringing when she touched it with her BARE HANDS. UGH.
WTF is it with hoarders not getting rid of old leaking food? How bad does it have to be before they are willing to part with it? |

I got the impression that Stephen may have just been depressed and just never threw out his garbage. Given how was reacting to the whole thing with a positive
attitude and not freaking out over the garbage getting tossed (like other hoarders), I suspect he had been put on anti-depressants.

Yeah the comic book guy wasn't a true hoarder. They really just shoveled everything away because it was trash, and were lucky enough to find his missing furniture underneath. I think the psycho divorcee had spent years viciously shopping, and knew she'd just be a dumb, broke bitch once all the shit was cleared out. Plus it helps keep her son away, who she obviously has a problem with. Enjoy the rancid pile of victory, lady. |
