I'm glad someone else picked up on this too... I'm really good at facial comparisons. This guy is one in the same, and the pic in plaid is during the
game. You can see this guy in the plaid shirt in group shots.

I'm getting good vibes from this cast... certainly looks to be an improvement in casting... I wanna know more about the black guy that looks like James
though.... Hopefully he'll be someone like Sean Rector.

Well if they're going to do a season redux, I'm glad it's a good season like Marquesas rather than a crap season like Fiji.

Anyone here ever seen the British television show shipwrecked? In that show the tribe with the largest population claims victory...or atleast I am pretty sure
that is the basic premise of the season. I feel like this could likely be what Survivor is mimicing. The larger tribe having some sort of advantage and
possibly each episode a player jumping or being forced/taken into the opposing team's tribe until one tribe dwindles down to zilch or relatively similar to
that.

I like how they've been using the "I can control how they think" line over and over again. In reality, he's probably saying he can control
how they think because of his southern charm or some bull shit we've all heard before. This guy doesn't strike me as someone smart enough to have any
sort of control in this game. I hope he's gone by episode 5.

Begging for Sprint votes already is another tipoff that he didn't win.

I agree about the Sprint votes suggesting he doesn't win. But most wives have a pretty good idea of how their husbands did, right? There's the family
visit, the weight loss and the intimate bond. Now, no doubt you'd be proud as punch of your loved one no matter what. But there's ways you brag to the
whole neighborhood when your man wins, and ways you brag when he loses. It's about setting expectations so you end up looking good. She sounds REALLY
pleased to tell everyone that they need to watch her hubby go to work. He may not win but don't look for him to go home pre-merger.

What a poor woman to have such a fat, ugly, repulsive, disgusting, and delusional pig for a husband

She sounds like an attention seeking housewife. But i sadly agree that you don't brag unless he's goes reasonably well. *sigh* He might turn into a
Coach-type character. That somehow managed to stick around, even though everyone hates them and you just want to see them DIE, because they really aren't
as good as they say.

Random thought here. But does anyone know, what is the attitude towards big bodies in Samoa? My hunch based on pop culture stereotypes (Samoan pro wrestlers
mostly) is that in Samoa bigger IS better. And I don't mean that salaciously. If in Thailand the old are honored (and therefore allowed to pick tribes)
maybe you get something in Survivor: Samoa just for measuring up to the competition?

If Cindy really is a castmember, I think it's safe to say that Cindy and Russell make it to the family visit around F7/F6. Cindy and Russell could possibly
have an alliance. How else could Cindy and Melanie be MySpace friends (assuming they don't previously know each other, I can't tell because Cindy's
comments are private)?
