Forest was NOT in that fight at all.
Silva completely embarassed him It was sad seeing how he ran off to the locker room after he got "knocked out". |

I know. It kinda broke my heart. I could almost cry, especially because Forest is such a sweet guy. He must be feeling horrible. |

Forrest lost because he was inferior to Anderson Silva. Silva basically toyed with him and knocked him out with a lame looking right jab. I think Forrest ran
to the back more out of embarrasment than anything else. Anderson redeemed himself after 2 lackluster performances. He just needs to be pushed by top shelf
guys like Forrest. Hey, Dan Henderson, good luck with your 2nd title shot, you're gonna need it!

I went to the show last night, and whatever people say about Philly crowds, it was without a doubt the funniest crowd I've ever been a part of for ANY
sporting event. The Leites/Sakara match made Quarry/Starnes look like a classic, it was truly awful, and I think deflated the crowd for until the
Pellegrino/Neer fight.
As for the Silva/Forrest fight, man just an absolute, devistating performance by Silva. Between the reactions Silva got with his facial expression in the intro to the ending, he went from having 80% of that place booing the hell out of him, to having nearly everyone cheer him as a conquering hero at the end. He's supposed to be fighting Henderson again next, but really after that, is there any real point of keeping him at 185 anymore after that? What did Rogan and Goldberg have to say about the Amir stoppage on the broadcast? |

Goldberg didn't have much of an opinion, as usual. Rogan thought Mirgliotta fucked up (again) with the early stoppage.
What was the fight like in the crowd during the Riley-Nelson fight. Rogan alluded to it a few times while it was going on, but the cameras never showed any of it. Seemed like it went on for quite a while |

Man I feel bad for Forrest. I don't even want to try and find the fight if it really is even half as bad as people are saying it is.

If you're a Forest fan, you may not want to watch it. The way he went down or gave up the fight and ran away in embarrassment with his head down almost broke my heart. But thank God BJ won and made my day! Kenny Florian obviously studied the BJ vs GSP fights and planned to win with the one and only strategy to keep pushing BJ against the fence and manage to last 5 rounds. But he's not GSP. Oh, and Kenny, please, clip your nails. At the end of the fight, his face was all bruised, swollen and bloody while BJ was, as usual, very clean with only a handful of scratch marks on his neck and chest. |

Not sure if anyone else is in the Hamilton/Toronto area but there is a new movie filming here next week tentatively called The Cage. They are currently looking
for extras to fill a stadium for a bunch of fights being filmed over 3 days. There is supposed to be a ton of big MMA names there for the filming but the only
names released so far are Keith Jardine, Forrest Griffen and Rashad Evans.
If anyone wants in just email thecage.casting@gmail.com You have to be 18 and just provide them your name, age and dates available. They are filming Sept 2-4th. I'll be there for at least one if not all the days and will report back as to who was there and what went down |

Forrest is in the movie?
After the last embarrassing fight? Man, I hope he'll get a chance to redeem himself soon. Anyway, anyone excited about the upcoming UFC 102 this weekend? I LOVE, LOVE Couture and Nogueira, and am sooooo looking forward to their fight. However, part of me is really worried that it might turn out to be a pathetic fight between two has-beens who should have retired. *fingers crossed* Speaking of Couture, I was watching season 2 DVDs of a TV show called 'The Unit' last weekend, and there was this soldier. I was like "Wow, he looks and sounds just like Randy!" I checked the credits at the end, and it was reallly him! Have I ever said how frigging sexy Randy is? He is! Despite his age. |

Anyone watching the current season? Apparently the season premiere was the highest rated episode in the history of the series. Kimbo = ratings! The Rampage -
Rashad dynamic is awesome. But given Rampage got the A-Team role and 'retired', who knows if we'll actually see the fight. He's all about the
$$$, so someone will definitely remind him he's leaving a shitload of $$$ on the table by not fighting Rashad.
The first two fights were total crap. That's what you get with heavys. The 2nd episode's fight was embarrasssing. I can't believed how gassed both of these so called professsional fighter were. They were smart to state Kimbo fights next week since they'll definitely pop a huge rating. He'll probably get submitted by fatboy Roy Nelson. Do Rampage and Rashad actually watch MMA? I can't believe how long it took for Nelson to actually get picked given his experience and record. He was easily one of the favorites to get to the finals. |

This season confirmed one thing. Rampage is a moron.
What is he? An amature who knows NOTHING about MMA? Choosing fighters based on their size? What a dumbass. |

Rampage looked like an idiot as a coach when Forrest Griffin's team dominated his a couple season ago. Things haven't improved this season. Rashad
actually shouts out constructive advice during a fight while Rampage gives pearls of wisdom like "Get up!". Why don't you tell him how to get up!

So, did everyone watch the 'the most anticipated fight' between Kimbo and, and... another fatty?
It was just as pathetic as I expected. And when Dana said it's never over until it's over, I was like "OMG, Dana is gonna whack somebody's knees so that Kimbo could replace him!" And what do you know? Looks like something similar might happen next week. Typical. |

Sentinel, I think we're the only two watching this series. Just caught up with the last episode on my DVR. I'm surprised Kimbo lasted as long as he did
with Roy Nelson. I checked into some MMA websites and apparently this was the highest rated episode of the series ever! The fight peaked at 6.1 million
viewers. No wonder they teased Kimbo replacing Marcus Jones next episode. Kimbo = ratings! Dana's milking the Kimbo train as much as he can. It's also
rumored he gets a fight on the UFC card in Memphis in December to spice it up since Rampage blew off the UFC to take the A-Team role. Also, since the Rampage
fight is off/delayed, Rashad wants to fight Thiago Silva since he beat his best bud Keith Jardine a couple months ago.
Roy Nelson may look like a typical redneck with a beer belly, but he's a talented guy. If you go on Youtube, you can find some of his work. He's beaten Frank Mir in a submission grappling match and he also knocked out Brad Imes (TUF 2 finalist) with one punch when he was champ in the IFL. I think he'll be in the finals. |
