We've had plenty of Survivor stupidest decisions ever rankings, but don't recall ever seeing one of these. I need your help! Help me remember some of the dumb moves I may have forgotten! :P It's been a while since I've seen some of these seasons. I'll start this in a couple weeks once this season is over (in case something else happens). Like many, I have never seen BB1 and will not be including it in this ranking. Potential nominees: BB2 Chilltown's arrogance in week 1, getting their pawn evicted and putting targets on their back Bunky votes to evict Kent Hardy votes out Bunky over Will BB3 Marcellas nominates Amy Marcellas doesn't use the veto Danielle & Jason keep Lisa over Amy at F4 BB4 Jee nominates Michelle against Erika Dana turns on the alliance of 7 Nathan playing too much for Alislut Jee failing to get Erika evicted, yet again during his 2nd HOH run Robert quits round 1 of HOH BB5 The Four Horseman's over the top arrogance Drew nominates Holly Scott & Cowboy vote to evict Holly Diane starts playing for Drew over herself, gets voted out at F3 Cowboy evicts his own sister! Adria nominates Will & Marvin and gets the entire house to turn on her and Natalie BB6 Howie nominates James and Sarah Kaysar lets go of the button Jennifer nominates Kaysar (loved watching this happen, but it sure killed her game) Janelle vetoes Maggie Ivette's farewell message to Rachel BB7 Kaysar nominates Diane and Nakomis (I know many disagree with me on this, I don't care! :P) James goes after Chicken George of all people The house unanimously evicts Jase over much bigger threat Will Sovereigns control house for four weeks, but fail to get rid of Will or Mike Boogie Janelle nominates Marcellas Erika nominates Danielle Erika's showmance with Mike BB8 Kail teams up with morons Mike & Zach and isolates herself from the rest of the house Mike convinces Dick to nominate him against Kail with his behavior in the veto competition Daniele nominates Jen and Kail instead of at least one person on Eric's side of the house Dustin volunteers to be nominated Jameka gives up the ability to compete in 5 straight HOHs Zach doesn't use the veto at F5 BB9 Jacob tells Jenn Parker is a snake Jenn & Parker blab to the entire house about the fact that Ryan & Jenn are a couple Allison's lesbian lie (<3 ya Alibot! A dumb move though!) Alex & Amanda nominate alliance members Parker & Jenn, then Matt & Natalie win veto and don't veto them Josh's attacks on Amanda & Allison Natalie & Adam vote to bring back James Adam doesn't initially nominate James at F6 Natalie gets caught for her double dealing Ryan evicts Sheila over Adam BB10 Brian gets caught double dealing Brian's friends isolate themselves Libra allows herself to get blamed for Jessie's eviction Ollie's HOH deal with Dan Dan's nomination roulette speech Everyone puts too much trust into Memphis BB11 Braden's racist attacks on Kevin & Lydia Ronnie wins HOH instead of throwing it to Michelle Ronnie makes it extremely obvious that he's playing both sides of the house Chima destroys her microphone & gets ejected Jeff vetoes Kevin and replaces him with Russell Jordan & Jeff attack Russell in their goodbye speech Last Edited By: Quiddity 08/29/09 11:00 PM. BB2 Chilltown is way too arrogant in the first week BB3 Chiwhora votes to evict Lisa over Eric Jason does not nominate Roddy BB4 Nathan starts playing for Alison (I'm referring to after her HoH week) Jee's complete failure to get rid of Erika BOTH times he was HoH (including putting everyone on PB&J just to evict Jack) Robert drops out of part one of the F3 HoH when Alison says she would take him to the end BB5 The Four Horsemen are arrogant and obnoxious during the first few weeks (leading to Diane/Nakomis going after them) Drew nominates Holly in week three Scott insists on voting to evict Holly in week three Diane starts playing for Drew Cowboy evicts Nakomis over Diane at the F4 BB6 All of the Friendshit play for Maggot instead of themselves I hate to mention Janelle, but she really should have vetoed Jennifer and put up Ivette at the F9 so Maggot would go Ivette slams Rachel in her goodbye message to her, leading to Rachel (and Howie) voting for Maggot BBAS The Sovs go after too many (insignificant) floaters Kaysar can not give Danielle a reason not to put him up Janelle puts up Marcellas as pawn at the F9 Erika puts up Danielle as a pawn at the F6 Erika wants to have a relationship with Mike Boogie BB9 Allison gets upset that Ryan has a girlfriend Joshua needlessly attacks Allison/Amanda Natalie votes to bring back Crazy James over the mystery HG (Adam did too, but it kind of worked out well for him) Adam doesn't originally nominate James at the F6 Natalie gets caught playing both sides BB10 Brian gets caught double dealing Brian's friends isolate themselves Libra allows herself to get blamed for Jessie's eviction Everyone puts too much trust into Memphis I haven't seen all of BB2/BB8, so I'm not saying that much for those two seasons. Also, make sure to add anyone who's ever gotten screwed in an endurance challenge deal. I see you mentioned Kaysar, but don't forget about Kail, Natalie (twice), Michelle, and Ollie.

Don't forget about the prejury noms too! @ James nominating Chicken George in week three. I'm not really sure of Chiara voting to evict Lisa was actually that stupid, but it led to Lisa becoming "Evil Lisa," and completely flipping on Chiara to Danielle/Jason. Lisa didn't trust Chiara/Roddy after that. When Jason was HoH (I think this was F7?) Roddy was the common threat, and everyone left wanted him out, but Roddy talked to Jason and charmed him into nominating Amy/Gerry, or maybe it was someone else, but either way Roddy needed to go home then.

Since Cowboy had won 0 comps up to that point had Nakomis went that route she could have eliminated Drew at F5 and put herself in the best position going into the next round .

Olly accepting Dan's HoH deal Parker/Jen and Ryan/Allison don't keep the fact Ryan/Jen are a couple a secret The entire concept of the Mrs Robinson alliance (+ Kail spending most of her HoH away from the house) Danielle unnecessarily trashes most of the other players in the diary room despite knowing the jury would see them Ronnie not killing himself Zach doesn't use the veto at F5 This shouldn't be on the list; it was a smart move. I'd argue using the veto would have been one of the dumbest moves ever, since Eric would never keep Zach and even if they somehow ended up in the F2 together OR with the Donatos, he wouldn't have been able to get enough votes to win. Oh I think it was. They never really had an alliance, but the other option was evicting Diane, and if Diane won the F3 HoH, then Cowboy would be in third place. If he vetoed Nakomis and evicted Diane, he's going to the F2 no matter what (although he'd probably still lose).

But Nakomis was a sure-fire vote for him, so it made sense to have her on the jury. He was right to assume Drew would take him - and I don't even think it would be a guarantee that Diane would have evicted him. If he turned on Drew/Diane, he had more of a possibility of throwing away jury votes. 'Dumbest moves' should really be limited to a list of things that undeniably hurt the players in question, which I don't think this did, since he was correct in assuming Drew was more likely to win an endurance competition and that he'd be more likely to take him to the end (and that he'd win more votes against Drew that he would have against Nakomis).

Ronnie wins the second HoH after pretending to be the swing vote in booting Braden. Casey takes a margarita party instead of competing harder for the veto. Michele nominates Chima/Natalie instead of targetting Russell during her HoH reign. Chima throws away her game (and her microphone).

He could've won against Jameka and thought he could've won against Dick as well. If he was in the F4 with those + Eric, Dick is forced to work with Zach. Besides, at that point, Jameka and Eric had won only ONE competition between the two of them, so Zach had to assume that he could beat them at either HOH or POV. Daniele was a challenge g.oddess and could easily give Zach a run for his money at the F4/F3 competitions (he could have assumed).

I know Russ is the biggest loose cannon we've ever seen, but Chima/Natalie wanted to go after Michele next, from what I know.

Zach guaranteed he'd never get to F2, ever by making that move. Daniele and Dick were the tightest pair in BB history and Daniele was a challenge whore. He could have eliminated Daniele, his biggest threat by far. Would America's player have kept Zach the next round had Eric won veto? Probably not due to America's vote. But how was Zach supposed to know that? If Daniele left Dick would have no choice but to make Zach his F2 partner. I'll go into more detail when I eventually rank it, but bottom line, Zach left in the tightest pair in BB history in the house and settled for third place when he could have had much more. Will add some of the other stuff mentioned to my list. :P

Oh, and forgot to address this. :P It was a good thing for the viewers, but you can't argue it was a good thing for the sovereigns. For Kaysar, Howie and James, it cost them the game. For Janelle, well she got to the F3, so I guess you could say it didn't damage her game, although I still say that she would have been better off with best buds Howie and Kaysar in the house; people who would have taken her to F2 (unlike Mike & Erika).

But how was Zach supposed to know that? He wouldn't have anyway, since Eric spent all his time making douchey comments about him and never once giving him any sort of strategic consideration. The only way it's a mistake is if Jameka or Eric would have taken him to the F2 and he could have beaten them, which isn't the case. Instead, it helped build up the good-will to the extent that Jameka, who had spent most of the game trashing Zach, ended up rooting for him to win. How is that not good gameplay? Just because someone doesn't take out two players you don't like doesn't make it a dumb move. If Zach evicted Daniele, Dick would've gunned for him and sided with Jameka and Eric, simple as that - you really think Dick would just somehow let Zach back in his good graces, considering how much of the game he'd worked with Eric? No, Jessica was safe (from the twist) in week one. Carol/Amber were the original nominations Carol pretty much quit, though, so she would have gone in any scenario, even if she wasn't up originally :/
