Posts: 662 (08/29/09 1:13 PM) More Recent Posts	Probst is wearing different clothes when he reveals the idol (which would be in Ep1) than he is at the challenge shown in the TV ads (which is also in Ep1, since there are 20 people there). So there must be both an RC and an IC in the first episode. Also, Foa Foa looks like it wins the RC, since they have fire in their camp in the "Meet the Cast" video, while Galu does not appear to have fire.

Now whether or not that is only active for the very first TC or the first TC attended by the specific tribe is the question. Either way, I doubt black Russell or Dr. Mick will be first boot. ETA: Did anyone else think that the TC orientation video was probably the cheesiest and worst promo idea that Survivor has ever had??? It was lame, and whoever thought up the concept should be shot.

We can only hope for a 90 minutes premier, but that won't happen. Or do we already know the first episode is 60 minutes? The two people who were alternates should have just been left out. They don't look to exciting anyways. But yeah, expect atleast 6 people who don't even talk, most of them being female =(

I'm not sure about the immunity at the first tribal council part. It reminds me a little of Pirate Master, which took their "black spot" from Treasure Island, which has something to do with the south pacific, as per the promo from last season's finale. Seems like the opportunity to vote off a bad leader would be part of the fun, at least in Probst's mind.

I didn't mind it either, but it did occur to me that new technologies and "HDTV" are known to show every wrinkle and blotch and are giving mature celebs indigestion just thinking about closeup shots. So... we got a clever retro-intro with "antique" clarity and a candlelight setting... I thought Jeff looked great. <3
