Kelbots still trying to down play the size of the crowd 2 days in row. Carrie is such a draw that those on the lawn didn't even get to see her but wanted
to be there to listen to her powerhouse vocals. Unlike Yelly, all they did was see a sign that same CANCELLED ONCE AGAIN DUE TO LAME ASS REASONS!

I don't understand the nickname "Scarrie." She looks scary? Because if anyone actually thinks that, they are actually retarded.

He states that 38,000 fans (18,000 X 2 = 36,000) were at the concert. It seems that he spins alot of his stories so I don't see him as a very reliable news source. And since the 38,000 is listed on the other blog also, it seems that they just picked up from the Allaboutcountry.com article. I will see what the official concert stats are before I believe it. |

Yeah right. Keep up the bitterness yelbots. I'm sure every news outlet is going off of AAC. Could it be some press release from Ravina or elsewhere that
was mentioned in once of those articles? Keep up the denial that Carrie is considered the most successful idol ever.

Carrie Underwood's Big Concert American Idol's Season 4 winner, Carrie Underwood, played two sold-out concerts this past weekend at Chicago's Ravinia Festival. Carrie's August 30th "evening with" show was the fastest sell-out in Ravinia's history! The rapid ticket sales called for the addition of a second show on August 31st, and this second show also sold out immediately. Between the two concerts, approximately 38,000 fans were in attendance. Before Carrie performed at Ravinia Festival, she made a surprise trip to Checotah High School in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. During this appearance, Carrie's C.A.T.S. Foundation and ACM's "Lifting Lives" charity donated $117,000 in musical equipment to the school. On August 31st, Carrie announced the name and shared the cover art for her new album which will release in November. Read more about Carrie's upcoming CD. |

This morning, Adam Lambert tweeted that his eagerly anticipated debut album would be out on November 24. The album - which includes production work from Lady Gaga producer RedOne and Green Day sonic mastermind Rob Cavallo - creates an interesting four-way battle between four former "Idol" contestants, as Carrie Underwood, Kris Allen and Jason Castro will all be putting out records on the same day. Allen of course won this past season's competition, while Underwood has arguably been the most successful "American Idol" victor. And Castro was the laid-back, dreadlocked charmer who shrugged and smirked his way through the show's seventh season. Each album should satisfy a different demographic, but it should be an interesting referendum on which "Idol" has the most staying power. But which one will people actually buy? We hit the street to ask fans in Times Square which album they would go for first. The hilariously unscientific results are in, and it's Carrie Underwood by a mile. The country star took home 61 percent of the vote, with many people endorsing the quality of her voice and her crossover status. Lambert came took second place with 23 percent, with many people choosing his style as the thing that would push him over the top. Allen and Castro brought up the rear with eight percent each. There really should be a lot more interest in Allen's album, as he is the most recent winner, but the success of Underwood is a good sign. |

damn that's a hot ass picture too and i'd rather stick a ice pick in my ear than listen to any Adam music. Country fans likely won't buy Adams CD in the first place. I don't see any reason for her sales to affect his or vice versa. Each have a fan base, large or small. He will have the unknown angle driving his initial sales as will Kris. Castro, uh, who cares what the fuck he does still. He looks and acts like a fucking stoner. |

Shyster wrote:That's the stupidest statement ever. That's like saying Kelly's fans rather spend their money on food because Kelly is overweight. Or that Scarrie's fans would rather spend their money on makeup because Scarrie uses way too much makeup. You really need to get out more, you identify too much with the artist's you support if you really believe a fucked up statement like that. I guess you think by supporting Scarrie because she's beautiful htat automatically makes you beautiful too? Talk about living vicariously through an artist. |

We hit the street to ask fans in Times Square which album they would go for first.Since Scarrie's cd is coming out before Adam's it would make sense they would go for hers first wouldn't it? They can go to the store the first week of November for Adam's cd but they ain't gonna find it I'll check out Adam's cd, if I like it, I'll buy it. I think alot of people are like that. Scarrie is a proven talent, they know what they are getting from her. Any person they asked that isn't an idol fan would say Scarrie automatically too wouldn't they? Would they even know who the fuck the other 3 were? Adam is an unknown. I think people have been bitten way to often with a fantastic idol contestant coming out with a shitty first cd so now they wait and see before committing. Fuck Adam hasn't even had his first single come out yet.
