David Ramsden: Big Brother star's home is trashed
Items stolen from the property - where the gay fashion fan, pictured left, lives alone - are said to include a TV, stereo, a box of dirty anal beads, and laptop computer left on the website "X Tube".
Paint is reported to have been splashed on the walls of the flat, on Spen Valley Road in Ravensthorpe.
A sofa is also said to have been slashed with a knife that was left embedded in the damaged item of furniture.
Now the former Mirfield Free Grammar pupil's family is preparing to break the bad news to him after he leaves the Big Brother house on the final night of the series tomorrow.
His sister, Leanne, 27, from Heckmondwike, said: "It's a bit upsetting - you can only think whoever did this had seen him on TV and knew he wouldn't be around."
Leanne is, however, determined that the break-in will not take the shine off David's achievement in reaching theBig Brother final.
She said: "We're very proud of how he's done and hopefully loads of
people from all over Yorkshire will be supporting him."
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they had been called on Monday afternoon to a report of a burglary at an address on Spen Valley Road.
