Seriously. I feel like we are in a similar loop with Kevin. EVERY WEEK people think NOW is the time he turns on Natalie. He's DYING to take her out. He HATES her deep down.

No, he doesn't. He "hearts" Natalie, as he said in his blog. He wants F2 with her. And just like every other time people thought DEEP DOWN he wanted to be with J/J/M/R instead of Lydia/Natalie, he will prove you wrong. How many times has he gotten an in with the other side, and people get giddy about how he's going to play both sides or flip? And what does he do EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.? He goes and tells Natalie everything.

Being with JJMR would have gotten him very little. He would have been a fifth wheel, probably not even a fifth wheel, as Michele and Russell would have targeted him at first opportunity. Staying with Natalie meant they managed to break JJMR up. That doesn't necessarily mean he wants F2 with her. People assume he does, even though he has tried over and over and over to make an F2 with Michele. Telling Natalie everything is basically harmless, because she's going to make shit up whether he tells her or not.

The thing is, any time Kevin works with Natalie in the game, people assume that means he must love her, he will do anything for her. People were going on about how he needed to make a "big move" and get rid of her before Jeff AND Michele. People said if he knows she lies, he needs to get rid of her before TWO comp threats who wanted him out at first opportunity, who would have taken him out if he hadn't won HOH.

So unless Kevin goes around saying he hates Natalie and he won't work with her and he puts her up and gets her out, then people automatically assume he's always going to be with her and is playing the game for her.

JB, Jordan DID do things to stay in the game. First week her click was the boot target and she almost flipped the house except for she got "got" by Ronnie, as did half the house. Then she was the pawn for 2 straight weeks, and then meanwhile made friends with someone who can win competitions. SHe specifically stated half way through the game her strategy had to be one that made her liked by everyone so they would vote out the person sitting next to her. She went into the house with the intent to be liked by everyone. She succombed to natalie's lies during her HOH and fogged up her game at a critical point and she just lost her best ally. Usually when everyone in this house lost their best ally, they were fucked up competition wise and social wise for about one HOH cycle. It has been less than 24 hours. So this strategy got her to the F3. It is no worse or no better than natalie's "all lies, all the time" strategy from day 1.

All of what you mentioned happened long ago in the game. At the time I was very impressed by her efforts to try to keep Braden and by trying to backdoor Russell, but that was only enough to get her past obvious threats, none of it advanced her position in the game. Then Jeff won the power and they won some HOHs. As soon as they got into power, Jordan fell apart. As soon as her partner was on the block, she begged to be voted out instead. If anything she is someone who actually can't play the game or she will implode, so that's more of an anti-winner.

I do think her strategy is worse than Natalie's strategy. Natalie does tell too many lies, but the lies she and Kevin told Jeff got Natalie past a sure F7 boot, and here she is at F3. The strategy is not a complete success but it's worked. Jordan's strategy at this point is, "Let Michele carry me to the end." That's what Jeff told her and that's probably what she plans to do.
