After enjoying a week of fine dining with guests from Paris, I realized that my knowledge of fine dining is in most part due to top chef. I had my first
Risoto, ceviche, and the most amazing sablefish. And thank god I knew what an amuse bouche was and enjoyed 3 different types this week.
This show made me crave good food, and now I think I will be destined to be fat and broke. DAMN YOU TOP CHEF!! Just got to get caught up on the week of shows, and first of all, I HATE the fawning and t.ears over armed forces shit. But whatever, they did a great job as a group to get it together and Jenn is kickass at being in charge. She has to be top 3 and hopefully we will have a legit female winner and not one who won because the real star choked on the last challenge. Pasta salad??? wtf? Preeti?? You need to be an angry lesbian to stay on this show, and pasta salads are for pussies!!! |

Mike I. is a real a**hole, but not a lovable one. He's the one who should have been booted.
Kevin 's restaurant in Atlanta is great, uses fresh, local ingredients. (The breaded one.) Jennifer does not seem like a bitch to me, her food has been great and she is used to running a kitchen. She did a great job in the last challenge. However, Padma, Gail and Tom are turning into really angry bitches. Why are they so angry? So everything can't be meat or have bacon on it! And Padma is beginning to look like a character out of a Tim Burton movie. Scary. |
