I don't know if there's a topic already like this, but I'm making one now cuz I gots a story to tell.
I'm currently attending New York University (as some of you already know), and a bunch of us at our residence hall decided to get all dressed up and go to a "casino night" thing and be all cool and shit. Well, there was a long line (of course), and we decided that we'd go in for five minutes then leave to go get some booze (which I wasn't interested in, but anyway back to the story). We spent some more time there, with some of us at a poker table thing, and it was sorta fun. I won like a gazillion fake $100 bills in two hands, so that was kinda cool. I got bored and decided to leave, when out of nowhere, I look to the stage and see a guy promoting a 10K race at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. I later learn it's the #*+# Human Race, and I then the light bulb went off. It was Terence of TAR 13! My second (well, quasi-) celebrity in NYC! (My first was Jesse L. Martin of "Law & Order" fame who spoke at our President's Welcome address). I shook his hand, he tried to get me to sign up for it (clearly not seeing that I am out-of-shape for someone to run a 10K), and got a picture on my cell phone. People were looking around as I got the picture like "What the fuck is he doing?", but it was awesome. I might have told him that I was rooting for him on the show, but really, that team was all about Sarah. ;)
Has anyone else got any stories of seeing any of the Racers? That'd be absolutely fantastic if you did!
