LOL at Ray having a wife 24 years his junior.

^^ So, in other words, if what they say about a woman hitting her sexual peak in her mid- to late-30's is true, she'll be wanting it lots while
he's slowing down and worrying about taking Viagra and prostate-shrinking drugs. How long till she goes out and gets herself a boy toy?

Actually, in other words I'm just way too easily amused by the fact the age difference between the two is the same number as Ray's most successful
career venture.
But yeah, what you said works too. |

Race weekend bump!
Truex is on the pole for tomorrow. Fuck Roush and fuck Yates Racing for making Bobby Labonte step out of the 96 this weekend. Bobby's driving the 71 that Gilliland was driving. The stupid announcers kept saying that if Bobby hadn't qualified, he'd have missed the race. Um, isn't he the most recent past champion who's driving a car not in the top 35 in owner points? So wouldn't he have gotten in on the past champion's provisional anyway? |

Yeah the announcers are morons but I can't blame Yates and Roush kicking him out of the car. It's all about money and what the sponsors want and
it's not exactly like he's setting the world on fire with his driving.

Cool. Good to see she isn't going to just jump straight into Cup
Source: Danica to try NASCAR in '10 |

I was about to mention that somewhere Hendrick is trying desperately to figure out how to bring Patrick in to his fold, but then since Stewart-Haas is a
satellite operation, the point is moot.
If she ends up running in Cup, then Tony Stewart is a fucking genius. Go from driver to driver-owner and almost immediately bring in one of the most popular auto racing stars onto your team? Imagine the nice cut of sponsorship cash he'll get that Patrick will bring with her. Good call Mr. Stewart, good call. Hopefully Harvick is the Nationwide and truck partner. |

I'd much rather see Harvick/KHI partner with Tony than Junya/DE Motorsports. Happy and DeLana have built solid teams in Nationwide and Trucks. And they
don't have potential Junya baggage (i.e. Eury Jr., I think).
If anyone can understand what it's like to jump from Indy to Cup, Tony is the one, IMO. As good as JPM's been this year, and as well as Hornish seems to be catching on (finally), Tony's still done it fairly recently and neither Juan nor Sam were near Tony's level at the same points in their Cup careers. I believe Mario Andretti did okay in NASCAR, but that was years ago; and we will never know what Tim Richmond could have accomplished. IMO, the NASCAR of 2009 is, in many ways, a very different animal from the NASCAR of the 80's, never mind the 70's. |

I'll steal the line over from the Speed boards and quote them as saying Dave Stremme is trying to take credit for it.

Bobby Labonte would not have been able to race if he did not qualify on time. He could not use the past champion thing because he was a late driver change.
Sorry if this had been mentioned.
