i have been watching for the last week, it's so great to see all of the cast members come back.
what does craft services serve these people? my gawd, reva is HUGE and olivia is right behind her. why are they dressing them in sleeveless stuff? do the usual "hide a RL pregnancy" and only shoot them from the shoulders up. |

Sept 18th is it.
Haven't seen this show for years but I think I'll start tivo'ing it from next Tuesday forward. Apparently it's not on
Monday (US Open) or 9/11.

Never a fan, but this show has been a mainstay since the beginning of television. Every person who works in the soap industry knows its cancellation is the
beginning of the end. As the World Turns is probably next, with Days of Our Lives soon to follow.

i have been watching it for the past two weeks. all the old characters are back, it's been like a walk down memory lane.
if only they would bring back marion and have her kill them all.  but, i think the finale is going to be billy and vanessa's wedding. i hope they wrap
up the jeffrey/edmond thing soon, it is beyond tedious.

I think there's only enough soap audience left these days to maybe sustain 3 soaps on the air at a time. 8 is waaay too many.
I imagine there only being 1 soap per network in about 3 to 5 years time. Maybe both B&B/Y&R on CBS plus 1 ABC, 1 NBC. |

Once NBC is done with Days, it'll be out of the soap business altogether. GH is ABC's daytime anchor, and it's just expressed a big vote of
confidence in All My Children by allocating the budget to move it out to Los Angeles and a high def studio. One Life to Live is probably most vulnerable at
ABC. As for CBS, B&B/Y&R are safe.

I'm gonna miss this show so much that I don't even mind Josh/Reva fighting over who gets to give the rocking horse gift or Buzz being a clown! (Isn't he often one, anyway?) ;) The Alan/Phillip scenes were just heartbreaking.

How dare you EXCLUDE COOP? He came onto the show a bit old for me, but he was probably hot when he was younger. As it is, GL never really had as much good looking guys as it's counterpart soaps did. Very often the leading men were attractive, but not super hot. |
