So, anybody notice the new elimination song after Lisa left panel? It sounded like they were saying "Top Model" repeatedly in the background.
Thoughts on new batch: Ashley- Pretty, but I'm getting Brittany C12 vibes. She won't be here much longer. Bianca- STANK! I'm not sure when she'll leave since our bitches haven't been lasting recently (Clark, Sandra). Brittany- Cute and nice enough, but she'll probably be one of the next few boots. Courtney- Surprised me, should make it past the next few weeks. Erin- Hopes she gets out of the "lucks into shots" things since she was my pre-show fave. Jennifer- C6 Gina with actual modeling talent. Will probably make it overseas. Kara- Blech. I hope she's the next gone but Tyra will keep her for "potential" Laura- <3 Hope that she will improve because she's just too darn cute. Lisa- My prediction for first boot came true, bitch was just too blah. Lulu- Like her a lot, I think she'll be one to watch. Nicole- Love her awkwardness. It's time for the weird girl to win! Rachel- Hated Analeigh the first time around, we don't need another. Rae- Picture was fierce but, something about her face in-person bugs. Sundai- I'm liking this ghetto bitch. Too bad she'll be gone quickly. |

So far I'm liking this season! omg on crazy Jesus girl...she was so crazy I didn't even want her on for entertainment!
I feel like this first round of photos were way better as a whole than a lot of seasons. Nicole and Rae's were really great. I hate that they made them wear flats too...we get it...they're short...at least let them dress like models. Oh, and I hate how they keep referring to them as "petite." Um, plenty of them are pushing 5'7' and I don't know any 5'7" woman who shops in the petite section. The shortest one there is 5'3" and according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the average U.S. woman is 5' 3.7. So, most of the "petite" women there are taller than the average U.S. woman. I realize they are "petite" in comparison to the modeling world, but please stop pretending that they're actually petite. But yeah, this round could be good. |

Nicole-This girl kicked ass in the first week! She's even better than Heather from Saleisha's season. wow! Top 6 Rachel-It took me a long time to remember her too. We gave Allison to the final 2 because of her eyes, you can make the top 13 and thats enough for you. Blah Rae-hehe Rachel Rae...but this girl is definitely one of the best. Stunning photo! Top 6 Sundai-I think this girl has huge potential as well. I hope she is able to pull it off because she is so pretty. Top 6 for being likeable |

I was shocked there were so many good photos in the first shoot given that ANTM12 provided about three good photos in total. Nicole is awesome. I can't wait until they boot her for not showing enough personality/hooting obnoxiously at everything going on around her. |

Chanel & Tyra Take Your TV
First came MTV's House of Style revival, than a guest appearance on Gossip Girl and then this (not quite TV) Modelinia video with Coco Rocha - but now we hear she'll judge the next season of America's Next Top Model. We haven't watched the show in a few years, but we'd tune in to hear an actual model tell maybe models what modeling's actually like. Here's hoping Chanel dishes some industry truths and wears some awesome outfits. Hooray for the high fashion-ization of reality TV!

On last night's Nightline, Tyra Banks got snippy when her publicist's requests to not "go there" over former Top Model
judges Paulina Porizkova and Janice Dickinson were ignored by host Cynthia McFadden. TyTy
was snarling with her eyes.
However, her facial modeling indicated that the answer as to why Paulina and Janice hate her is "jealousy."

Love Nicole and Laura and all their dorkishness. I think Bianca is absolutely stunning, but I hope she tones it down, and that swat on the bottom was a lesson learned about how to behave. Erin's makeover shot made her look just like Mena Suvari. I'm not loving the bleached out eyebrows, though, on either girl. |

My problem with Bianca isn't that she's a bitch - it's that she's a STUPID bitch! Hasn't she ever watched this show?! When Jay asks you
what is wrong, IT'S A TRAP! The only answer that won't bite you in the ass is "Everything's great, thanks" (big smile)...
I'm actually a bit disappointed in the overall caliber. With taller, real model-sized girls, the ones with real superstar potential don't need this show. They can succeed without it. Therefore, ANTM gets the cast-offs who tried to make it on their own and failed. With shorties, they should have been able to get the creme de la creme of women out there. |
