I tried the first two episodes and just could not tolerate the plastic bitches. They're not even plastic in a good way. Nearly gave me nightmares.

You people don't know what you're missing! It is gloriously flametastic! The plastic is to die for!!! The HBIC, OH MY GOD. How can I describe this woman? Part Joan Rivers (plastic), part Leona Helmsley? (although not quite as evil, and deliciously stupid!) Carrot: so the good girl of the office, the one that actually knows what she's doing (I'll call her Snow White) walks in while HBIC#2 is sanding HBIC#1's face (eww, btw) and #1 falls asleep. Because she's had so much eye surgery, her eyes don't shut while she sleeps! She's there snoring, making fart noises w/ her mouth so Snow White starts making all those faces people make at blind people to make sure they're not blind. Please go watch, Duskfang - give it another chance! I thought so at first, but it got so much more intense dramawise. I'm not going away fuckers!

I've watched this once and liked it, problem is, I have no idea when or where it comes on. It was one of those serendepitous moments in time when I caught
it. "You need to get your teeth fixed to keep working here." I was horrified, in a good way.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh *sigh*, THANK you! I can discuss! It is hard to find- I don't know about you where you guys are at, but Oxygen is one of my On Demand channels
so it's there, but new eps show up slowly. I have to say though- this is the only show that I've ever watched all the bonus clips given on demand!
RobertBestBarbie- Diane is Deliciously worthless! I've never seen anything that extreme in a professional setting! This is shit you see on campy movies, what have ya- and there is NO way that bitch is acting, she's too completely oblivious. Like when $1000 worth of mascara shows up missing- she all but hisses that the staff stole it, starts grabbing it all to be locked up like it's major bling or something and then when it's found in her car by one of the staff she's blaming (he went out to fetch her Minolo's), he confronts her about and because he's a super girl- she feels comfortable telling him to hide it AND don't say anything! LMAO! It is just too much. I like Ronnie too! And Natasha (although she really is so insuborninate- but who could blame her!) and hell, Gary's even growing on me. Dr. Lee is just plain weird looking, I catch myself wondering- did he do his own face? OH- and the surgery's- EEK, I didn't expect to see anything graphic (not Nick/Tuck graphic but enough), but I like seeing the before and after. My thoughts, Dr. Lee's constant disclaimer that he's never touched Diane's lips (when patient's meekly say- I don't want them to look like Diane's lips) is not enough for me to ever want to go to him! Some of those afters are not good! If you didn't notice in the title- September 22nd, there's an all day marathon :) |

You know, as professional as Dr. Lee seems to be, and as nice as some of the results he gets are, his own face looks so overdone that I wouldn't want to go
to him. Plus, he comes across slightly pushy...a patient comes in and says, "Can you take the bump off my nose?", and the next thing you know,
he's doing her breasts and a tummy tuck! (Yes, I am exaggerating, but not much.)
Shannyn and Dianne have both had so much plastic added to their bodies and faces that they look horrid. And I like Natasha, too, even if she does act pretty unprofessional at times. Hell, if I had to work for a bitch like Dianne, I would probably be just as nasty. Ronnie is just hilarious, and Gary grew on me in the episode where his mom got a face lift (I think) from Dr. Lee. He came across as very genuinely caring towards his mom, which was a little unexpected and very nice. He's still a little odd, but I like him. Is there supposed to be another season, and are they going to wait a whole year for it? 'Cause if so, that's too long a wait...I want to know if Dr. Lee is really going to fire everyone, and if he is, what would be the point of a show? Obviously his business will increase from the show (because it appears that he DOES do good work), and stopping the show would just amount to a very long commercial for the spa and Dr. Lee. Oh, and Dianne...come on, she STOLE that damned make-up herslef and was perfectly willing to let Ronnie take the blame for it! She took credit for Natasha's idea of doing the makeovers at the beach, and then couldn't even remember to bring along her business cards (her only responsibility, it appears), but instead wrote the name and address of the business on pages torn out of a notebook??? Yeah, I'm going to run and pay a small fortune to your spa for a makeover, and you apparently can't even afford business cards? Real professional. One last thing...there is definitely an "ewwwww!" factor to this show! When he was working on the rhinoplasty last night and they showed him lifting her nose skin so he could shave off some cartilage, I almost gagged. Waaaay too much information for me!
