Marcy is amazing. That's one of my big sads. I'm going to miss her. I hope she jumps on one of the other CBS shows after she gets her mat leave.

alot of stuff happened today for sure..my head is spinning.
I used to watch this show everyday with my grandma back about 30 yrs ago. I got hooked back then. I wonder why another network(cable) hasnt picked this up. Lifetime or Oxygen should.

I didn't care much for the final episode.� The last 10 minutes was amazing though.� I'm glad Josh/Reva ended up together at the end.� Loved that
they used the lighthouse as well.
I hated the music they played at the end.� They should of used this a piano version of the theme song.� The "The End" was such a sad ending. |

My favorite -- oh but there were so many -- was Alexandra going off with Fletcher. Followed closely with Maureen going off with Ed.
I'm so sad, even though I haven't watched in a while -- all the mob stuff with Danny finally turned me off to it -- but at least all the story lines were wrapped up nice and pretty for me (I didn't care about Jeffrey & Edmund. That was all after my time) |

Yeah, let's not forget GL has been *terrible* and *desperate* the past few years before it ended. They ruined so many characters and relationships that it wasn't surprising they had a death knell. I wonder why another network(cable) hasnt picked this up. Lifetime or Oxygen should. Too expensive. |

I haven't watched in over a decade, but I too used to watch with my granny. :)
OK, so I watched today to see how they'd end it, even though I didn't know who half the characters were I did know the other half. BUT, I thought it sucked. No wonder it's been canceled. It was so weak! And...............WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO REVA???????? SHE'S AS BIG AS A HOUSE!!!!!

I loved it. Glad everyone got a sweet ending. LOVED Rick & Mindy finally hooking up. Nice surprise. Ed & Holly & Fletcher & Alex going off together. I also didn't expect the flash forward but it made sense. Lizzie got to REALLY be pregnant <3 And of course Josh & Reva kissing in front of the lighthouse. Perfect. I'll miss ya GL. 16 years for me.  It's not just me! I ran into a casual friend at the gym today and she was telling me that her soap ended, and I'm like GUIDING LIGHT? And she said
YES. So we started chatting about the last episode and she says "Boy that Reva sure ballooned up, didn't she?"

In Carboys' defense, 25 years can take its toll. BTW, the Body Heat scene is particularly funny, because both Kathleen Turner and Kim Zimmer played the
same character, Nola Aldrich, on the NBC soap "The Doctors."
