Reactions to the Samoa (S19) Premiere

I'm guessing this is heresy at Survivor Sucks, but I want another season like Vanuatu. I know, I know. But really: Everyone who made it to the merge except for maybe Chad was actually playing to win. Even fucking Scout, when you go back and watch it. Twila, Sarge, Julie, Eliza, Leann, Rory, Ami - I loved them all. Even Chris's annoying crap was fun to watch because he overcame such a deficit without artificial bullshit that Burnett thinks we want to see. I expect to be flamed without mercy here for liking a season like Vanuatu, but I stand by that comment. I'm taking a sabbatical. This place is just a little weird. Sorry. I post a long post, quite long in fact, and the only comebacks/rebuttals I can get on pages 1 or 2 are complete nonsense. Page 2 won't even open, not that we're missing anything there. Might be fun for some, but not me, so you can have it. I'll be back in the Spring because as I stated, the rumored cast leaves us plenty of opportunities to rip on contestants who keep returning and failing. This season bores me and I honestly think I'll be sitting this one out. Good luck to all of you brave enough to spend another 3 months in Lynne Spilllman's woodshed - I swear to God this is the worst job they've done in 19 seasons... BY FAR. Peace.

But at least there's some levity here at sucks, even when people are poking fun at you, rather than just at the cast members. Outspoil, Outbump, Outflame! I suppose this type of thing isn't your cup of tea, with all the 100's of people you are helping on daily basis.

And after just one episode? You're like the Melissa McNulty of Sucks. I'm hoping all the full-frontal Russel in this episode was just an escalation of the drama before an early boot. If not, this IS going to be a grueling season.

I also don't feel so bad abandoning a message board where several people here have made absolutely horrific jokes about Ethan, Jenn Lyon, Timber Tina, Lydia, etc. You know exactly what I am referring to. I'm not talking about stuff like "I hated them on Survivor" or "They sucked at this game" or stuff even worse than that like we see in most other threads. I'm talking just some absolutely nasty shit being posted that should make any normal person's stomach turn. With that, once again, peace.

The premiere was okay, but with so many castaways and only one hour, it's just inconceivable for the premiere to cover everyone we want to see, especially since in recent seasons production has decided to show the story of only three or four castaways. I don't see why TAR gets two hours and Survivor gets only one. Survivor needs it.
