You guys hardly saw any of Airai when we kept winning immunity challenges, the losing tribe gets more airtime. plain and simple. They need it to explain the plotlines of who is going home. I'm sure anyone who is important to the story later on in the season will get their share of airtime later on. They just don't matter right now.

Because Survivor isn't a documentary, it is a TV show. The editors can do whatever the damn hell they want.

I like Russell too. I like rooting for the villain. Not sure what that says about me.

Seasons 1-9 gave the losing tribe enough airtime, enough development, without hurting the storyline for the losing tribe. It's fun when everyone gets a storyline. It's a bigger bummer coming off of a seasons like China, Gabon, and to an extent, Tocantins, where both the tribes and the players were given great development (mostly anyway).

You're right, that does always happen, but I feel like this is much more slanted than it is normally between winning/losing tribes. We still got to see pretty decent amounts of winning tribes like Rotu, Chapera, Koror, Fei Long, etc., but this season they've shown practically none of Galu. The only people that have had actual airtime (other than one or two random confessionals saying "omg I'm glad we won blah blah blah") are Shambo, Russell S, and Yassy. I'm not one of those people who complains about editting shafts all the time, but this season [so far] isn't showing enough of Galu.

Anyone who knows me in real life knows that none of it is "put on for the camera" (as I've been accused of with my reaction to the Ozzy boot -- see my avatar). I just have expressive facial features (read: eyes) and that's why I got a lot of camera time.

I have no idea why she was cast in the first place but she still has the whole season to impress us.. if she lasts long enough. Not going to hold my breath though

What about you guys? Why the hell wouldn't they show that? This has happened before where Gary saw Judd looking up at trees in Guatemala and then found the idol. So basically what Russell did is not a first because Gary was given a fake clue by Judd, therefore even Gary technically didn't get a clue before finding the HII. Also, even though Russell wasn't officially told that there was a HII, i think it is a given that the person who was kidnapped would get a clue for the HII. So I don't think Russell should be given so much credit, because what he did already happened in Survivor, 8 seasons ago/ 4 years ago!!!!!

Totally valid point, and i liked russell more this episode cause he didnt take up ALL the screen time. we finally got to see more of mick and jaison.
