I hope it is some sort of twist where the winner has to pick someone to go over and spend the day with the other team maybe even sit in on TC. The leader would have to pick not only someone he could trust to gather information but who would not be upset about missing reward. That would make sense since it is Yasmin. I can definitely see brother Russell thinking that way to choose her, and then the editors get to give us more race-based snarliness. I'm having a lot harder time thinking of a reason FoFo would choose to have her come visit. (Remember last season Brandon chose the older larger black lady to go to exile with, using the logic that she was superficially different from everyone else on her tribe, and so might not be fitting in and would be amenable to CTA. Yasmin doesn't fit that by either race or age, and at least so far, challenge ability.) ETA: I think this way, the winning team sending someone, makes the other camp HI more interesting, too. You have to send someone you trust, whose access to an HI tests that trust. Versus the winning team getting to pick who visits, which should be someone on the outs and already primed for betrayal. Hopefully getting someone thrown out of the challenge actually does disadvantage their tribe, like the penalty box in hockey, rather than just switching the lineup, like getting ejected in baseball. The boys seem to be tackling each other and ignoring the balls. The ladies on the platform are just standing there (Shambo/Kelly/Laura and Natalie/Eliz/Betsy). Are the boys supposed to toss a ball to the ladies of their group? Are the ladies supposed to make a basket on the opposite side of the court ? (ain't gonna happen, imo) I've been looking at vid caps this morning and a couple really cracked me up. On one, tdt has emblazoned his tdt-logo right on Evil Russell's bee-hind. . In the one at the bottom, old Mike seems oblivious that Dave Ball is retrieving a ball . Once Dave has that ball, what's he supposed to do with it??? Last Edited By: Wezzie 09/19/09 1:19 PM. Maybe, um, size matters? There's some reason why they aren't going after certain balls? It sure looked like the people on the field got the balls, threw them to the people on the platforms ain't gonna happen, imo Part of the point of the crew version of the game seems to be to make ridiculous shots, ideally banked, bounced, or rolled off of something else. So maybe it's supposed to be ridiculously hard.

Posts: 877 (09/19/09 2:46 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	a couple things i see (that may or may not matter) in the caps above and the preview video. 1. since Galu (purple) has one extra tribe member, i would think it's the one female that is standing on the ground to the side of the raised bench. (Monica?) There is no such person on the Foa (yellow) side of the bench. 2. There 3 purple (John, Jasmine & GoodRussel) & 3 yellow (Jaison, Ashley & Ben) standing on the benches. There are 3 purple (Erik, Brett, Dave) & 3 yellow (Mick, Slimey, Mike) fighting in the ring. There is a raised yellow "end zone" behind the purple basket pole. The remaining 3 people from Foa (Betsy, Liz, Natalie) are there. In the 1st cap, you can see the purple "end zone". I would assume the remaining 3 people from Galu are there.(Shambo, Kelly, Laura) 3. It appears to be 3 heats. First, Men on Men (those currently in the ring fighting), then Women on Women (the 3 standing in the ends zones), then finally a mixed heat with the 3 standing on the benches in the screen caps below. (the preview vids show this). 4. In the 3rd heat, we see members of the first 2 heats sitting down on the benches and covered in mud. 5. When Jeffy calls a halt, it appears to be right after we see Betsy's reaction to something bad. She & Liz are shown sitting down and covered in mud. Therefore, if we are to believe that Betsy is reacting to the event that makes Jeffy stop the game, the ejectee must be one of the 3rd heat players. They are: John, Jasmine & GoodRussel vs Jaison, Ashley & Ben. This also lends itself to why Jasmine is so hopping mad. She was on the field at the time and might possibly have been involved. ETA: since players are shown sitting down covered in mud while the 3rd heat is going, they must not be involved in the game in any way. At first i thought since there were players stations on benches and in end-zones, that they must be playing defense or involved in some way with the game. But with the players ( i see at least 4 or 5 from each tribe) from the other heats sitting down and covered in mud while the action is going on, the game must involve only the 6 people on the field. Repeating your point: Under this scenario, then 'he' has to be either Jaison, Ben, John or GoodRussell... the only 'he's' in the group. Fun to think about! John is being edited negatively- would he tackle Yasmin even though she's on his tribe? Would preppy Jaison tackle Yasmin so roughly that he'd get kicked out of the game?! Is Ben the overly zealous player? Could there be a heat (overtime because of a tie?) with a diff combo of players ?

But, if it's "first tribe to score 3 (or 4 or 5 or whatever) points wins", there could easily be more heats. I'm leaning towards more than three heats, personally. ETA: Duh cindi...if there are different point values assigned to balles and the heats are timed and not finished as soon as someone scores, there could still be a tie with 3 heats, lol. But, have they ever done a challenge like that before? I remember a whole bunch of "first to score X points wins" challenges, but I can't recall any "whoever has the most points after X minutes/rounds wins" challenges off the top of my head. Probst tells them one thing, they play the challenge that way, it runs really long or boring or something, and then in postproduction they voiceover new rules, just make it come out with the same winner. If it's really hard to make a basket, there could be a heat that ends 0-0.

I seem to recall the hidden immunity idols in the opposing team's camp would be "searched for" by the person selected (in some way unknown so far). This occurs after reward challenge is won. There is only one combo reward/immunity challenge this episode. Most likely, the team who looses this week's challenge contains the person who goes searching for a hidden idol in the other tribe's camp. (Instead of searching for an idol in exile, they search for the idol in the opponent's camp.) Challenge winners or loosers will be minus a tribe member a while?

Therefore, there would be no advantage of Russell sending his queen to get a chance at a bypass cause he wouldn't be aware of it. If that's the case, it stands to reason someone from the losing tribe would have to visit. (who chooses them doesn't really matter) There would be no advantage or purpose to a winning tribe sending someone over to the losing tribe unless it was for something like stealing a camp item etc. Would they have the person being sent, be able to do TWO things? Steal a camp item AND get a clue as to the whereabouts of the HII? That doesn't make sense to me to have two purposes. So, since we do know that the person going over will have an opportunity to find the HII, that is their purpose. Has there ever been a time that the winning tribe sends one of their own to EI (to search for the HII)?? I don't recall that. Therefore, I believe that purple loses and someone (don't care which tribe) sends Yasmin to Foa². ------------- Thought about it a little more. If all the above is true, that Foa wins and Yasmin is sent to their camp, WHY?? If only the abductee knows about the HII (which is the real purpose of the visit) what is Jeffy going to tell the survivors the purpose is? He has to have some reason/explanation for it, without informing them about the HII. So what could that purpose be that the survivors would believe? "Winning tribe gets to kidnap a member of the losing tribe." (a la kidnapping an opposing tribe member to share in rewards like they've done in the past) "Winning tribe gets to steal a camp item from losing tribe." (a la Pearl Islands) oo or how about "Losing tribe gets to kidnap a member of the winning tribe." (thus penalizing them by keeping them from enjoying the reward.) Whatever it is, it's got to be something believable so no one suspects the true purpose, which is giving the abductee a chance at the HII.

That kinda seems more like a reward than punishment.

It amost ooks to me like Yasmin may have been digging. The angle of her head is tilted way up here. but not here, possibly another reason Yasmin is so upset is Ben catches her looking for the something like..the Hidden Idol. There looks like fins in the RC basket and probably snorkle and a spear. Purhaps there is some rice too, something for Slimey to spoil.... Doesn't someone skulking around at night put your radar up? Posts: 2810 (09/20/09 10:51 AM) Registered user More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	If it's the winning tribe kidnapping someone who will hang around their camp, using up their resources, stirring up trouble, and avoiding tribal council, seems like they would choose the weakest player. Less likely to be a bother to them, and sticks the losing tribe with someone weak for another round. Would that be Yasmin? She was one of the four competitors in the first challenge, and did fine. She was one of the women doing the physical part of the second challenge, and did fine. As far as we can tell, she's right in there with the physical E2 challenge. Doesn't seem weak or isolated at all. Seems like if the losers were picking, they'd go with more like Besty, maybe Mike.
