He acted in Generation Kill. He was great...even if he was playing himself. Here's a few more reasons he should play Alcide

Okay, based on those pictures I am sold that he IS Alcide.
I received the 3 CDs of Generation Kill through Netflix a couple weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to watch them yet. I am hoping to watch them over the weekend. |

I didn't really like Alcide in the books, but if they cast this guy I'm sure I'm gonna like him on the show!
The Alcide storyline started off well but then it just kinda fell flat. |

I just got Dead and Gone in the mail today! LOL everytime I see that name Justin Timberlake singing pops into my head.
Anyway, I'm excited to read it and FINALLY be caught up with all the books. |

I always pronounced it "All-Seed" or "Al-Seed" but with a really soft "d" sound at the end.

I remember in one book Sookie said you say a soft "duh" at the end, so I've been imagining Charlaine Harris meant it to be pronounced
al-see-duh. But I always just think of him as al-seed.
It's like Hermione. When I read the books before the movies came out, I thought of her as her-me-own. LOL now I know better. |

In the book, it describes it as: "pronounced Al-see, with the d barely sounded". (on pg. 57 of the paperback)
