I feel the same way about most of the solos, Heliox, except I found JR and Daniel were both disappointing considering how good they have been (well, I remember not being impressed with Daniel's solo in finals week, so I guess I should have expected it). And it really annoys me that the judges act like the disco yesterday was so horrible. They should consider themselves lucky that that was there worst performance, considering every other couple has had multiple routines that have been worse than that.

Amy and Vincent had the best solos of the night, easily. They were both great. Amy was quirky and unique (although I think she stopped a leap at the end), and Vincent does a great job of mixing technique with personality. I have no idea why he doesn't get more votes (Amy might have something to do with it). I mean, he's cute, he's very talented in his style, he's probably the most versatile guy left, and he looks like Edward Norton (which kinda nulls having to say he's cute). He also seems very personable... what's not to love?

Anyway, I'm not that disappointed by who was eliminated. Danny was a goner unless Everett ended up in the bottom with him (and even then, I think he would go), and Heliox, I know you liked Natalie, but I feel that she would be impossible to get rid of if she stayed, and I am not as forgiving towards the less classically trained dancers as you are (I remember you defended Phillip in S5). Sure, she was impressive for a female krumper attempting other styles, but she wasn't exactly amazing (and I was not really a fan of her solos. She had some good moments tonight, but overall, I think it was the weakest female solo). I am actually very impressed that she made it this far, and she was a much better dancer than I expected her to be, but tonight was her night to leave (I would hate to resent her for overstaying her welcome).

As for Danny, he had a decent solo, but he was expendable. He and Natalie should be both be happy they lasted 4 weeks.

I love how the Benji curse strikes again. My god Canadians hate is routines. I mean, he sunk a couple with a person from the Maritimes (who had never been in the bottom before); that's amazing! He's also managed to beat Dan Karaty's record for least popular choreography. Dan had 1 (non finale) routine in S1, 2 in S2, and 2 in S3, and only his fifth and final routine with Lacey and Kameron didn't end up in the bottom 3. Benji, last year, did a cha cha, a hustle, and a lindy hop, and all of them ended up in the bottom (it's even more odd because the lindy hop was in top 8 week, where people vote for individuals, and Izaak and Arressey still both ended up in the bottom). This year, both couples who have danced his routines have gone home, meaning he is now 0 for 5. Dan at least had 1 for 5. And Dan's routines have only led to 3 people's eliminations (Snow, Ashlee, and Musa), where as Benji's routines have led to the eliminations of 7 people (Jessie, Caroline, Arressey, Jenna Lynn, Nicolas, Natalie, and Danny). I find that really funny...

btw, I missed the group routine. How was it?

I completely missed the show tonight, but saw the recap. Anyway, I want Corynne to go. She just looks so unstable and gangly, especially in heels.

Cody also needs to leave. It won't happen, but I can dream.

TJ and Everret will be going home if they are in the bottom. The show does not like them. If the producers liked them, it would not have taken five weeks, and a quickstep, before they finally get the style of only 1 partner (they haven't had contemporary yet). Neither of them deserve to leave, but they will unless people vote.

But as long as Vincent/Kim/Melanie/JR, and (gasp) Emmanuel are safe, I really don't care. I'll see the show later and post if my opinions change.

Yeah, I saw JM's comments to JR/Daniel, and they seemed grim. I'd think they'd get rid of Daniel and Everett before Cody (which is stupid), so I hope both of them are safe. I actually hope that the bottom is Melanie/Cody, Corynne/Austin, and Kim/Emmanuel. That would mean that Cory and Corynne could be finessed out of the competition (Kim and Emanuel are the only couple where both memebers will not likely be eliminated by the judges). Amy is a good second option for the girls, but I really worry for Vincent. No one has been saved by the judges four times (Comfort came back, but that doesn't count). The only risk with M/C, C/A, and K/E as the B3, is that Austin might leave, but that's very unlikely, and wouldn't even be that bad. I would hope that Mia actually has some say in the matter; based on what I've heard about the show and the taping, I don't think she cares for Cody or Corynne as well (a rare moment of Mia having a great opinion).
