Melissa was meh. Watching her dance is like watching your mom dance. Her popularity with gays and fraus will keep her in.
Debi is not too graceful, and dances kind of bow-legged. Won't last long. Mya is gorgeous and a great dancer. Big fan. Final four candidate. Joanna is very good as well. May not have the fanbase, which is a shame. Macy is such a stoner. It's like watching the Mummy dance. Kathy is very stiff, but has a grace that could help her. She'll be okay in ballroom, but horrible in Latin. Kelly was a revelation! So bad when she began, but pure grace in the actual competition. Louie is a great technical choreographer. Fav of the night. Final four. Natalie has great potential, but has to learn to perform and be a bit more sexy. Now about everybody ragging on Len. I love Mya, but he was completely right! He's the technical judge, and this is a ballroom competition. It was more of a freestyle and nowhere near a Viennese waltz. And don't give me that it's the first week. Melissa, Kelly, and even Macy for chrissakes could do a proper Waltz. I think Dmitry knew he has a great dancer right off the bat so he almost skipped right to the final 4 freestyle and forgot the basics. I for one am glad the old curmudgeon is there to keep the contestants and the other two non-ballroom judges honest. |

Dial Idol is not reliable for DWTS because 1) they don't factor in the judges scores and 2) they don't factor in text votes.
Kelly's audience is of the texting era...with her judges scores and with her text vote she'll be safe. If she goes home this show is fucked. |

It was SOOOO sweet to see that.. She was really good. It's the first week, Carrie Ann In Harbor should have let the lift slide the first week. You know, I don't like Ozzy's music, but I really enjoy him as a person. He and Sharon are awesome - Ozzie in commercials is GREAT! (watching via DVR, haven't seen the relay dances yet...) |

I feel totally pathetic. Kelly made me cry. She was always such an oaf, but she was so graceful and beautiful. I don't have any kids, but I could imagine how proud Ozzy and Sharon were watching her. I must have watched too much of their show. Hell with it GO KELLY!!! |

I wandered over here from the BB boards. And since that's over, DWTS is my other crack.
I have no idea how to do spoilers, but regarding Dial Idol, I suggest you go check the "Raw Numbers" instead of the score that first pops up. It makes much more sense that way. I love, love, love Kelly. I didn't think I would, but she was amazing. And I thought Ozzy's pride afterwards was completely sweet. Mark, Mya (who I've always liked) and Kelly are my F3 so far. Natalie is pretty good, and I'd pay to see more rehearsal footage of Debi/Maks, although I don't think she's going to last that long. Also, I loved the bitchface on Donny O. after Mya's dance. I hate him with a passion, but I've already accepted the fact that he's going to make F3, no matter what. But I'm glad he has some serious competition. If I believed in voting for these things (I went batshit insane voting one season and swore I'd never do it again), I'd throw all my votes to Kelly, cause I think she has the best chance to take down Donny. |

Kelly was surprisingly good and adorable. Macy made me LOL.
Mya is good, but you know they're going to be picking on her all season and she lacks that je ne sais quoi. Natalie has potential I think if she can loosen the swimmer arms. Can't remember the supermodel's name who was good too, but she's annoying. I'm rooting for Kelly! |

Macy's dancing was laughable, but entertaining as well. I REALLY hope Chuck stays. he's hilarious to watch. He'll suddenly remember his face and break out a big smile that just cracks me up! I think he has potential to learn, and do well... I hope so. |
