Like NotHungry, I just don't see how they could have opening confessionals from both the first and second boots. They've never done that before. Usually those confessionals are meant to highlight big characters or pivotal characters (the first boot being pivotal only because they're the first to go). Betsy strikes me much more as a big character who will impact the season for awhile. I think Russell's rampage is misleading. He may want to get rid of Betsy or Liz, but Mike is probably going to stand out as very physically weak at the challenge, and I think the rest of the tribe will want to go for Mike, with Russell following along (but probably still calling himself a puppet master either way).

Besides, if the title of E2 is "Taking Candy from a Baby"....why wouldn't they be talking about how easy it is for RH to be knocking off his bevy of mindless girls if they vote Mike out? Hatable is pissed at Betsy Bolan. And so far, he's controlling the game. What a detestable character! C'mon now, emptying the water canteens and burning socks of his own tribe? Sadly, I voted for the police woman Betsy Bolan, assuming the Foa Foa Tribe loses Immunity again.

I just feel that based on all the evidence (interviews, Probst, editing) that Betsy will be around for a long time. The characterization given to Betsy in the premiere just makes no sense unless she is a long term, key player. Natalie W. screams cute, bland UTR F4 girl (Darrah, Natalie B., Jenn) to me. I doubt she's going anywhere soon. Just a gut. So I think it's definitely between Liz and Mike for me. I'm leaning towards Liz just because of the interviews she's given. I wouldn't be shocked if it were Mike to go either though. I'm also in agreeance that if Galu somehow winds up at TC that John will be going home.

And it's Ashley's eye and forehead that is shown in that shot. They are making it look like Betsy. I'm guessing Mike because he's not seen in the camp shots after the challenge. That's a physical challenge and he's in poor condition. I'm thinking a mercy boot this week, with Dr Evil tracking down the "she" in the next ep or 2.
