But unfortunately, now we are entering the WTF? phase of each season, where a couple of the better chefs get knocked off and one or two annoying hacks (Robin? Eli?) refuse to die and go home. BTW, Mike Isa strikes me as this season's Howie.

They ARE often really pissed off when they're doing the judging on Chopped - that judge that was such a dick to Fabio has shown it wasn't just a personal thing with him...he's pretty much of a prick to everyone!

This episode's outcome was a tad disappointing, I was ready for an asshat like Mike or Ash to go home. Ron was unintelligible but not one of the douches. But the most irritating thing about the episode was FUCKING PENN AND TELLER. Do people actually find them amusing or entertaining in any sense? and I miss Gail

Posts: 1641 (09/24/09 12:19 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Mike V., Brian V. and Jen--long lost sibs--they are great chefs and rarely ever smile and if they do look really uncomfortable doing so...Jen makes Tiffani look like Bambi in terms of cutthroatness and just being tightly wound about everything...but I do believe she's one of the best chefs this show has ever had...However this season is definitely headed to the Voltaggio brothers vs. Kevin vs. Mike I. vs Jen showdown in the end...everybody else is interchangeable... ok another mark of a "top chef" added to the faux hawks, bald heads, and girls "doing it for Zoe"...tattoos!!

They didn't like her dish either. It was good to see others in the top as opposed to just the brothers and Jen. Every episode, Michael gets more annoying.. and man, Laurine, what a nasty face she has.. and she doesn't make it any better to look at when she's pissed. Eating dinner with Penn and Teller would probably piss me off after 5 minutes of silence from Penn (or is it Teller, I can never remember which one doesn't speak).

And not being able to cook shrimp in the last eppy made me pissed. You can smell rotten seafood a mile away. I do not think her salad and brown betty crap showed anymore skill than the average home chef. Micke V. (I know, haters) stuff should have won because it looked the hardest to make and Michelle Browstein & Padma were drooling over it. It WAS Ron's turn to go, and not because of his godawful accent, either. He just doesn't get "it." And while they are at it, get rid of the REALLY OBNOXIOUS Mike, along with that useless pos, Ash, who has NEVER cooked anything well.

The whole cast is a snoozefest. Okay a Fabio can't come along every season. But think back to the other seasons with Hung or with Miguel, there were always a few interesting people- they were funny. I can barely watch this show. This is the worst cast ever.
