And every time I think about Kurt's dad saying, "He's so small," I get weepy.
Can't remember the last time a TV show made me feel good the next day.

I've gotta stop with the iTunes downloads before the songs air. But I can't help myself.

What I want to know is just WHY were Brittany and Tina in Kurt's garage in the first place? I wish they would have explained that one!

What I want to know is if this episode marked the first time where we saw a cheerleader not wearing a cheerleader outfit when Brittany was in the garage.
Also, when did she become friends with Kurt and Tina? |

That's what he THINKS! Maybe his dad just up and left and mom just said he died b/c he's a meaniepoo.
Somebody theorized that maybe Kurt, Tina, and Brittany get along because they're the gay members of New Directions. *shrugs* |

Well when I first saw the teaser, I thought Brittany was out of place... but then isn't she a single lady too? Just like Tina and Kurt? Mercedes should be
there, but I guess they didn't want her wearing a unitard.
From a story telling view, her presence there made sense since she brought up the idea for Kurt to join the Football team. But yeah, my only guess would be that the three of them just decided to do some practice dancing to make themselves feel better about having no boyfriends... bleh. Guess it's just one of those things that you just have to skim over. |

I didn't like the episode as well as others we've seen, but it was still pretty good. There weren't quite as many quotable lines (though I loved
the tsunami reference), but I really liked the set-up to the pregnancy storyline with Finn and Quinn. It was very wittily done, letting the audience know
immediately that Finn and Quinn can't possibly have conceived a baby (at least if you know that sperm can't travel in a hot tub), showing Finn's
worries even though the audience knows he's not going to be a father, and then revealing that Quinn really is pregnant but that Puck is the father.
As for the believability of Finn's sexual ignorance, I totally believe it. Kids don't learn much about sex today, only the biological basics. I knew people in high school who thought that sperm could live in a bathtub and impregnate the next user of the tub. Other favorite line: "I've known since you were three, when all you wanted for your birthday was a sensible pair of heels." ETA: I was really disappointed with how little of "Taking Chances" was shown. Guess I'll just have to listen to it on repeat.

viciousmaturity wrote:Brittany hasn't been as actively involved in the scheming to break up glee club either. She was only in that first meeting with Sue, but since then it's only been Quinn & Santana. She was helping at the car wash too, while Quinn and Santana were absent. They could be setting her up as someone who just got roped in but is not interested in playing Sue's game. Or it could just be because the actress (Heather Morris) was one on Beyonce's back-up dancers for her recent tour and didn't want to pass up the chance to use her in the number. I'd like to see her defect to the glee side. Though it's probably only a matter of time before all three do, if Quinn's remark to Sue has any weight. |
