Posts: 1970 (09/26/09 8:06 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Am I the only one who thinks David Wallace needs to be written off and replaced with someone funnier or meaner? He's so "meh" and not really an engaging charecter. They need to set up a Jan/Ryan-esque downfall for Wallace and get Michael a new boss. Ryan is such a DUD. He should of been gone after season 4. Most of the time he's invisible and the times he is shown, he's just a plain douche. GTFO I hope he gets pushed by Kelly off Niagara Falls. Not only would that ruin Jim/Pam's wedding, Kelly would be arrested, Ryan would be dead, the entire Office a cluserfuck, and the show would a 100% more interesting.

And while I agree that Ryan is basically a waste of a character, I can tolerate him if only because Meredith is even more worthless and one-note. This has actually been the best start to a season since I started watching halfway through S2. I've got a good feeling about it.

A competent, smart, professional guy with a bit of a soft spot for Michael but isn't blind to his faults either. I think he's a great 3rd tier character and definitely needs to stick around.

GTFO ummm...I think that's the point...its funny that he used to be one of the "normal" characters like Jim and Pam but he turned out to be one of the more neurotic ones and always on the verge of a breakdown...plus he's exec producer so I think he gets to work when he wants to..I think all the characters are perfect just the way they are

His new personality is actually even less funny than his fish-out-of-water act the first three seasons. It was alright during season 4 when he was on his power trip and we got to see a whole new side of the kid, but now his character has run its course and is probably the worst character on the show. Even Meredith, who's even more one-note, still has her moments.

Wallace is perfect in his role and even though Ryan is a weasel, I wouldn't want to lose him. He's perfect as fire/fired guy and for Kelly to continue her love/hate infatuation with.

It had editing problems; the A-story really should have been resolved, and the B-story frankly didn't fit and shouldn't really have even been included because it didn't juxtapose against the main plot line. We've already seen Jim realize he's a Michael-in-waiting, so I'm really surprised he just decided to $%%#+ into Michael-meets-Charles as soon as he got his own office (and since Michael is treating Jim as though this was his first day as co-manager, that new office must have been built awfully fast). What's with Kevin's "hair" in the preview for next week?
