I really enjoyed this episode...
a lot of great one liners from each character really...Abed is the standout though. Lol at him giving Joel the card for his shirt. |

That stripped shirt was creepy but totally worth seeing Joel Mchale's pipes... boys been at the gym...

Really disappointed that John Oliver wasn't in it...is he not part of the regular cast?
But still funny. It reminds me a lot of old-school Scrubs. |

thought this second episodes was leagues better than the first - not that the first was bad, but if the show continues to be this funny it's already better
than "the office" IMO. my favorite line was about how "you're like jody foster or susan sarandon -you care more about being real than being
liked!)

Was the 2nd half better than the first? I tuned into Always Sunny instead...

Good episode, looking forward to more.
Jeff looked hot in that striped shirt. |

The spanish teacher is funny, but a bit over the top. I hope he gets more screen time. Abed steals this show.

Very hot in the tight striped shirt.
That is all. |

Why was Senor Chang going into that long introductory speech at that beginning of the episode? It's the first time we've seen him, but haven't they
already been in his class for awhile? McHale told the girl something like "it's been two weeks since I met you" or something.
Also, I'm surprised that McHale's character is so intensely focused on the shrill blonde chick and hasn't considered the brunette (don't know her name but the one played by Pete's wife on Mad Men). I think she's more or at least equally attractive and hasn't acted bitchy to him. I realize there's attraction in pursuing someone who's spurned you, but still. |

bbf2Venom wrote:My guesses in answer to your two questions: 1. Someone in the class asked Senor Chang why he teaches Spanish. 2. Probably because she is only 18-19 years old, being a recent HS grad, and she's too young for Jeff. I join in on the Ken Jeong seething <3<3. And Abed is quite the scene stealer. I'm loving this show and it's a fantastic followup to The Office. Unlike Kitty White, MY love for The Office will never be eclipsed by any other sitcom. However, I can easily see Community becoming my second-fave sitcom and definitely better than the overrated 30 Rock. |

So on Torrents we have the pilot, ep. 1, and ep. 2. Are the pilot and ep. 1 basically identical?

Goosehead wrote: I'd say yes... as the pilot was released early online... as soon as it aired people put the new version up as well... Some pilots are different than the first episode, but I think in this case they are identical... I haven't watched both so I can't say for sure. |

Honestly, this was one of the best second episodes I have ever seen... I lol'd at a consistent rate.
Great stuff all around. |

Best comedy on TV. I laughed out loud through the whole show.
I worry the comedy is too subtle for most viewers? |
