Mick is on a tribe with so many distractions that he's been in the middle, which is a really good spot. The comparison to Brendan is silly. Brendan was UTR1 then a series of episodes of huge visibility. Puh-leeeez, ILT. Point out similarities in edit, people, not appearances/occupations which has little bearing on edgic.

So you don't think the winner is on Galu ?

He's just someone to fool us again, and I'm not being fooled by his edit. I know some people will pick him though, just cos they feel like they have to pick the attractive young male leader who gets moderate airtime. Alex, Aaron, Marcus, Brendan, it's been a trend for a while now. It doesn't work. Then again, Liz could just be a good narrator. But I don't know who else to pick, so I'm sticking with only her. I think this is a rather ridiculous argument. Alex and Brendan were barely visible in the first episode. Aaron and Marcus got strategic confessionals but we didn't learn anything about them as people. We learned about both Mick's strategy and who he is. Mick's edit is different from theirs because this is a new season, a different tribe, and he's well-hidden (unlike all those other guys who kind of took centre stage on a low-visibility tribe). Someone's occupation and appearance should not be used against them because of other similar-looking people's edits in the past. It isn't a valid argument.

After Stacey Stillsman's lawsuit - you know Survivor's watching what they say to contestants. Potential lawsuits aside, the probability of a tip-off looks even more remote now that it's become clear (to me, at least) that Russell had a good reason to look for the idol when he did (not when the episode told us he did): Yasmin and her for-your-eyes-only note. That would explain why Galu is being so ignored (they don't come into play until later, and the winner's not even there.)

The editing is so ridiculous this season that I don't see how the winner can be edgically viable. Personally, I think Monica is the only one on Galu that might win this (Shambo's edit just isn't complex enough, IMO. It screams premerge boot to me). But I definetely think someone on Foa Foa is probably going to win the way the edits been going. She got a good episode for her chances, but her premiere was not that good... Ben - OTTNN4 - no need to explain... Hate him Betsy - CPP4 - Maybe she was OTT, but I think she was not one-note, we got to known that she was in dangerous and we hear her explanations for everything, including her vote for Ashley in the first TC. I'm really sad to see her go, she was my fave in the first episode.. Jaison - CPP4 - I think he had enough complexity for a CP but I'm not sure.. I think he came off positive Liz - CP4 - she got great edit, I was not expecting it.. She's one of my top contenders now Mike - OTT3 - I felt he was neutral, but I understand a mixed tone for him.. Natalie - INV1 - she got nothing, but it's interesting that, again, Betsy said to her about "women's intuition", will be her to get rid of Russell H? It doesn't matter because she won't win anyway Mick - MOR4 - I feel a Marcus' vibe on him, but he's still my top pick, we know a lot of him and he defenitely has a lot manipulation. But I don't think he was CP... Russell H - CPN5 - great episode for him, if he wasn't so NN in the first one he could be a top contender... I haven't eliminated him though. GALINV Brett - INV1 Dave - INV1 Kelly - INV1 John - INV1 Russell S - INV1 - C'mon, he was not UTR1 just because he chose Yasmin... He had nothing Monica - UTR1 - why she received another random confessional? I think that if the winner comes from Galu, it's Monica, because she's so random...
