This was eons better than the pilot. Abed makes the show <3. And Joel McHale is hot enough to keep me watching.

Thanks for posting the rap, DLaw. I keep replaying it on my DVR. Such a great way to cap off a hilarious episode.

I'm sooo bringing the rap in to my Spanish II class on Monday on my flash drive or something...What was black dude saying in the head is ice cream line?
Ice cream is helado, and I think he said Nieva, which is snow? Maybe? =/ <3 it though.

Yeah the pilot was a little rough but still good. Second ep was much better. IIRC 30 Rock pretty much followed that same path. I think we're gonna have a classic here. I'd get rid of Chevy though. <3 Ken Jeong. Abed was a little annoying at first but grew on me....right at about "Am I deaf?" |

Abed's movie was fantastic on several levels. First, in just how fucked up and random it was. Second, that he intentionally tortured Jeff and Britta to get
reactions out of them when he merely seemed weird. Finally, in how it was actually oddly touching and really brought out an interesting tidbit of Abed's
family life. Definitely a brilliant piece of writing there.
I was iffy after the first couple episodes, but now I'm sold on this show. |

I agree on Abed's movie, Mega. I found it both hilarious and very touching. Love the casting of Abed's dad (Glee <3).
I thought it was another great episode. I LOL'd quite a few times. The writing is really good and all the characters are quickly growing on me. Even Chevy's character. He plays a skeevy pervy old man pretty well. At least he did one good deed by getting Troy out of his letterman's jac.ket and dressing like an adult, rather than a pathtic high school jock has been. I love the friendship between Troy & Abed and their clips at the end of the episode. Last week's Spanish rap and this week's krumping. |
