I like this show and I know it's TV but I found it annoying that Allison was able to get use of hand back so easily.

I just have one thing that has perplexed me since the beginning. Why has Allison not switched the phone to her side of the bed yet? It rings in the middle of
the night in most episodes and it's always for Allison. Why make Joe always have to answer it just to hand it over to her?
I was happy enough with this episode. She healed a little too quickly. But I guess the show would kind of lose its plot if she couldn't have her visions for a long time. And it won its time slot with 8.8 million, 5.7/10. Welcome back, Medium. We missed you.

Mswldflwr wrote:Because otherwise it wouldn't be so much fun. Excellent question though. Loved the ep. Nothing but nothing says Medium like a perfidious black widow brought to bay by Ali. Loved Bridgette too: I have a spoon and I'm not afraid to use it. Agreeance that Ali healed too quickly for that kind of a disability, but better to get it out of the way now than let it drag on all season. Amybody notice the line about "it's 10 o'clock. It's time for bed"? |

Glad they're on a new network, perfect time for me to get back into the show. (stopped watching after season 4)

Strong, strong beginning to tonight's show. It was one of those ones that made me stop doing what I was doing and just listen. Love this show so much.

Another fine episode that didn't disappoint. Ariel can't help being a little bitch even when she's not Ariel.
And please tell me I'm not the only one that was expecting Ariel to pick up a pair of scissors and stab her mother in the neck while they were hugging. |

What the fuck is this show about? I flipped it on tonight because the Yankees game was too depressing to watch.
Does some dead bitch always possess her family members or is that just a one week storyline? The only thing I get from the show is that she sees something that already happened in her mind and it happens to be right each time. |

Let me clear things up for you. The mother is a witch who dreams about dead people. She's married to a dolt of a man who has no psychic abilities
whatsoever, and even less common sense. The three daughters are also witches, despite being half-breeds. So it's kind of like Bewitched, only less amusing.

No, no, no, no! This show is closer to the Different Strokes. The kids are all adopted (which is why they are so weird) and Allison has serious psychotic
episodes that we see as her thinking she is psychic.
Her husband is actually a black man, but she thinks he is white so we see her version of him. It is all very complicated and there is a companion guide that you can buy from Amazon.com for $14.99 plus S&H. |

I thought it was off putting that in this episode she again had her bad hand and walking with the cane. Magically better last week just to regress again. So
where did the revenge seeking ghostie go when she departed Ariel? Even more mysterious is how she knew to jump into the kid in order to get to her killer. Is
it going to start like so many shows where the baddies are always trying to endanger the hero or the hero of the show family? That will bug if the go down that
road.

Loved the show tonight. Loved Ariel being possessed by 'the devil stripper daughter'... that little girl can act!

dottstar wrote:They always show the ghosts as free floating, but somehow the visions of what happened or what will happen gravitates towards Allison. In this case, because Ariel is both psychic and a friend of the murderers daughter it was, I guess easy, to use her to seek revenge. And I agree, what's up with the hand. |

I'm thinking the hand thing is okay. My mother had a stroke, and even after she started to recover, she would have bad days, when she was tired or whatnot,
and she'd slide back into a weakness on one side. It isn't beyond the norm for stroke patients to recover mobility, and then have weak days.

Using your hand to eat is not the same as using it to write. She got gross motor skill back, but is still working on the fine stuff...

I saw that SVU ep with Will from Will & Grace meeting his end, and thought the same thing....
Weird ep, and I'm annoyed why they never explained how cute Latina wound up not only going from a Manny favorite to a mistress, but how she invaded Ariel. And the hug from Ali was enough to boot her out? Blech. Plus everyone thinking Ali's nuts until the last ten minutes was so season 1. Hopefully, this is new season teething pains. |

Overall, I enjoyed the episode and props to the girl playing Ariel. I was, however, increasingly annoyed with Joe for his ignorance towards Allison's
pleas that Ariel was possessed. The fact that he was so quick to disbelieve her and act like an ass gets on my nerves and is not at all realistic. Yes,
sometimes Allison's dreams get a little muddled and aren't right at first, but probably 90% of the time they are spot on and Joe and everyone else
should know it by now. It's just not believable that Allison is always confronted with the "you are wrong/you are crazy" from her own family,
the DA and the detective.
Other than that and Joe's missing hair cut that the recruiter advised him to get were my only points of contention. I enjoyed the overall storyline and loved how they set up Elena/Ariel to get Elena to finally take a hike. I think the Allison hug made Elena think of her own mother and how her own mother was hurting from Elena's death and that is what made her finally let Ariel go. |
