I didn't really like the first 2 episodes. Lily was even more obnoxious than usual, and the best moment so far was Ted's class (which is never a good
sign). I'm a huge fan of Barney and Robin as a couple, but it just seems awkward so far, as opposed to their great chemistry in seasons 3 and 4.

This season is not doing it for me so far. I like more Ted and Barney interaction. Barney and Marshall did not do it for me at all this last episode.

The dynamic of this show is changing - having Barney in a relationship is just wrong - it's throwing everything off.
And I really don't care who the mother is anymore. |

I loved the date sequence where they were talking about being in between jobs because of the internet bubble burst and the banking crisis.

I thought it was absolutely charming. The attention to detail was an example of this writing staff at their best. This was one of those eps that although not
a classic, was seriously amusing from start to finish.
Barney ignoring Robin. Yeah is in a relationship, but he's still Barney. Even Ted who's usually the weakest link had a great arc. Anyhow so the new goat is the Final 2 doppelgangers?

I loved last night's episode. Stripper Lily was awesome. I'm definitely NOT feeling Barney/Robin though.

CoconutPhone wrote:Yeah, my...mind. ;) I love Lindsay Sloane so it was awesome to see her. And I want backstories for lesbian Robin and mustache Marshall, stat. I got the S4 DVDs too--I'm a bit flabbergasted by the packaging; they went to a Amaray-style case which is fine but over the shrinkwrap is a cardboard copy of the cover that one can view quite easily below the shrinkwrap. ??? I don't get it. I can't use it as a pin-up since it's the full cast and not just Robin, so what's the point? Anyway, I can't wait to watch the burger episode again. |

Well, isn't this interesting. A casting spoiler involving the 100th episode.
Probably misdirection, of course, but still interesting. |

Interesting casting choice. Its kind of a big name, so it makes you wonder if this person is going to stay with the series...

Yeah, with this much press, it HAS to be disinformation.
I'm still holding out for the Slutty Pumpkin to have been in that classroom. |

My guess--if she has any connection to the mother, she's probably a sister or friend.
I like Rachel Bilson but she belongs with Chuck Bartowski, not Ted Mosby. |

Tonights episode was a classic eppy
So many good moments: "Bowl...... Bowl....... Bowl...... Bowl......" for the first two minutes The Bermuda Triangle (Oh and the notebook thing is totally going to be a in a future episode) Top three things that distract Robin: 1) 2004 Vancouver hockey team 2) Gun cleaning 3) Emperor penguins The many photos of Robin (Especially the drunken one that Ted shows the class) Mable and Lily's allergic reaction to barrel resin Gotta love the Robincentric episodes. |

Still not great. But Ted and Barney's reaction to Robin showing up at their class was hilarious.

Very underwhelmed by this season so far. Lily and Marshall were completely useless in this week's episode, which is too bad. They could easily have had
more storylines than just Robin 101 and the barrel. I hope it gets better soon.
