But the even sadder thing is - what would NBC even put in it's spot if they decide to pull it? They don't even have anything else. Heroes is only supposed to be on for half the season; the other half, we get Chuck. Presumably, if one did significantly better than the other, the weakest one would get the boot and the other would be promoted to full season. |

Heroes - 5.719 million viewers - 3.5/5 HH - 2.5/7 A18-49 OMG, that's so pathetic. Even more so because you know this is going to end up getting a season 5. |

 Cause if not, Ali Larter should be gone for a while (probably just
dead (again)) since shes off reprising her red-headed role as Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil series.

I think if Heroes ratings level off before going below five million and let's say 2.5 in the demo (or is it too late for that?) and the peripheral numbers
give NBC enough to cling to, they'll renew it for a fifth season of 13 episodes and then let it slide away into syndication on SyFy. But if the bleeding
doesn't stop soon they just won't be able to justify a renewal.

I don't see how Chuck will do any better after being off for almost an entire year! It's ratings were even worse than Heroes last season.

Yeah but Chuck was getting stronger, slightly, in its last few episodes and we all know what Heroes is doing.

Herc at AICN ranked the NBC shows based on their 18-49 rating for the last episode.
NBC 5.6 Sunday Night Football 3.7 The Office 3.6 The Biggest Loser 2.9 Community 2.4 Law & Order: SVU 2.3 Heroes 2.3 The Jay Leno Show (Tue) 2.3 Trauma 2.1 Mercy 1.9 The Jay Leno Show (Wed) 1.9 Parks and Recreation 1.8 SNL Thursday 1.8 The Jay Leno Show (Mon) 1.6 The Jay Leno Show (Thu) 1.5 Dateline 1.5 The Jay Leno Show (Fri) 1.3 Law & Order Heroes is in the top part, but last year, it was up there with The Office as their number one show. I imagine it's expensive to produce. Looks like it's a little dicey to me. |
