Edgic rules are not set in stone, that is the key think I think you're missing. Vecepia did not follow edgic guidelines. Neither did Brian. Neither did Tina. Neither did Jenna. Neither did Amber. Neither did Danni. Neither did Bob. 6/8 is 33%, which any statistitian would know is not enough to make edgic "rules" gospel. What those winners did have was some sort of manipulation, or added scenes. Right now, Monica's edit does resemble Amber and Danni. Not saying she wins, let me re-iterate that, but it's happened before and it can happen again. And we should look for that. Especially in a season where nobody fits the perfect edgic mold, like Stephen/J.T. did. Hello, Gabon.

You mean Mr. MOR and Ms. OTT? Mick is a good candidate, but not perfect. Shambo is a terrible candidate. Her first episode was too OTT (and I don't care that the official rating was CP, I don't see it at all). And her second episode was atrocious for a winner. She is the Rupert, the Matty, etc.

Tina did not get a big episode 1. Vecepia did not get a big episode 1. Brian did not get a big episode 1. Amber got a horrible episode 1. Danni got a horrible episode 1. IT HAPPENS often enough to not take it as gospel, especially in regards to female players, which clearly have less developed edits as winners. You also have to look at the circumstance and understand what the editors are trying to achieve, and not go so strictly with the edgic rules every time: The editors this season want to pimp out Russell. That explains the lack of Galu airtime. Who at Galu has been the only person who got some sort of focus every episode, and no INV1's? Monica and Shambo. And to me, Shambo won't win because she's the OTTP hero that we always see fail. Monica is a random who has no reason whatsoever to be shown. That personally tells me she's an end gamer, not necessarily a winner, but she cannot be ruled out because players have had her edit before and won (Danni had 3 weak episodes in a row, as did Amber).

Just because those winners aren't typical (well, even then, it's 2 out of 7 females, which is statistically not enough to rule them out), doesn't mean we can't look for them. If she doesn't have development by her first TC or she gets an INV1, she's eliminated. Until then, she can't be eliminated. Eliminated means no chance of winning, and 2/18 = a chance at winning.

Whether you eliminate Shambo or not is your own choice, but I don't see her as getting a winner's edit in the least. She's too much of the hero, like I said (and in a different way than Bob or JT). Russell S received an INV rating, lets not forget.

Again, edgic rules should NOT be set in stone. If they were, we wouldn't have winners like Vee, Tina, Amber, Danni, Brian, Bob. But we do, and we have to account for that whether you like it or not.

Are they uncommon? Absolutely. Which is why they shouldn't be the top picks. But that doesn't mean they should be "eliminated".
