I've never had any luck with torrents, but will take another run at it today. Many thanks!

I've always liked Canada, but today I love it.

Great episode. I totally called the guilt thing.
Interesting that Jen can't see Beta at all. Her getting depressed and emotional stems from her feeling that she doesn't belong on the mission since she has no connection to Beta. Steve, despite not having a hallucination yet, did make a comment about Beta moving fractally, so he does see it. It's only Jen that can't. I really hope this gets picked up for a second season by someone. Now that we have an overreaching goal it would suck if we didn't see it play out. What's going to happen when all 8 entities are united? My suspicion is that the crew will then evolve into something else.. We know that Beta has been changing the physiology of the crew and their DNA - if 7 more of these creatures come into contact with them I think the changes will be far more extensive. |

Many thanks for the torrent linkie, shiza -- that's the first time I've gotten one of those to work.
Agreeance -- outstanding ep. The reveal was perfect, and makes complete sense with everything that's been going on. So Jen's had no visions? I wasn't keeping count. She did behave oddly trying to save the wabbit embryos when the radiation spike hit, so maybe Beta's affecting her in a special way? So who wants to bet that Alpha's been keeping the two astronauts left behind on Mars alive and well? Now that ABC's canned this series, I can't see any way it gets a second season. I'm just delighted to be able to see the remaining eppies. ::breaking into a mangled rendition of Oh Canada:: BTW I thought the Nazca plains sounded familiar and googled it: sure enough, it's the high desert where the indigenous population had carved pictures into the sand that can only be seen from 5000 feet in the air and higher, maybe from space itself.
Nice touch! |

Ah.... but were these etchings made by man? Or something else?
::frisson:: j/k I guess I knew that. But I remember seeing pictures of these things that looked like they taken by satellite. Still, the point is, those things were meant to be seen from WAY overhead. Anyhow, wikipedia says the remaining eps will be shown on a Canuck cable channel called Space. If anybody finds ep 10 somewhere, please let me/us know. |

Alright, the Space Channel will be airing episode 10 tonight at 8 pm EST, so all us Canucks will be watching it. I'm sure the episode will be quickly put
up on megavideo or on torrent sites fairly quickly for all you Americans.

I'm still mourning the loss of Virtuality, so I refused to watch this POS rip off.
Maybe enough time has passed though... Is it worth watching? |

root4thecuntrdog wrote:Yeah, I think it is. Don't be turned off with the initial Grey's Anatomy-ish bits in the first couple of episodes. They really dissapear quickly and sci fi/mystery stuff takes over, with an actual major revelation as well so it's not pulling a LOST here. The show has gotten a lot better now and is continuing to improve with each episode in my opinion. It's dumb that ABC and now CTV have stopped airing it. Thank goodness for the Space channel. |

Tonight's episode was good. I really enjoyed it, even though not much happened plotwise. It was great to see how Jen and Rolly really got together and the
details behind Paula's hallucination. I can't wait until we find out the truth about Nadia though... creepy!
I'm probably the only one watching this at this point. What a shame, because this show is still good! |

Any news on when the remaining episodes will be shown?
I've seen up to ep11, and don't seem to be able to find any others to download. |

Thanks.
ETA: Just finished watching - this show is so good! Why the hell are they cancelling it?

Ratings toilet. The big networks don't give you the time to build a story, or audience.
The Wire and The Sopranos would have been cancelled with big networks short time frame for success. |

Thanks for the link... I had actually (kind of) forgotten about Defying Gravity... The last epi I watched was 8... Downloading the 9-12 right now... Is 12 the
last made or is there 13 in total?

13 eps. I am guessing the last one will be capped this coming weekend. I'll post a link if it does get posted.
