And I'm going to go with Yasmin as the boot.

The episode title alone makes me pretty sure Galu goes to Tribal Council. And I'm actually really ready for them to go just so that we'll actually get
to see them.
And I'm going to go with Yasmin as the boot. |

I agree that Yasmin will be the target. But what another poster said, about Erik suffering an injury that doesn't necessarily require evacuation
but prompts his tribe to show mercy by voting him out (thus sparing him further injury, as well as excising a potential weakness in future challenges) could
override that.
Spoiler-wise, I got nothing much from the clip...other than perhaps at the rate Galu-leader Russell is pushing people he may not be too revered in some people's books and is thus possibly on the chopping block (yes, I am rooting for that female alliance). |

Yeah, I'm thinking it's either Yasmin or Russell S. Possibly even some invisible like Brett.

Thank God that Galu might go this episode.
But, I bet their boot is going to be barley seen because of Russ H. |

If you pause the video right when the yell occurs you can clearly see Eric's head snap back and the line/rope that he has hit. Could this have happened
during one of the challenges?

I guess it could, but to me it really really looks like running around camp. If the challenge was chasing/catching chickens, they would most likely have them
corralled somewhat, imo.

In the frame just before the Eric incident, you see another person (Shambo?) running the same direction as Eric. So could be the chase of the wild chickens.
Is is just my faulty memory but does there seem to be a chicken chasing sequence almost every year?

Why I don't think it's Yasmin: Russell H's comments about Yasmin's remarks and how she will pay for those statements seems to foreshadow that
they will meet up later in the game.
Why it may be Russell S: Probst mentioned a few weeks ago that his decision may bite him in the ass, and the fact that they haven't been subtitled as Russell H and Russell S makes me think they will never be on the same tribe. |

I think I know where the editing is going to take us. There is a reason why on Galu, the women have been given more focus by the editors than the men.
When Galu goes to their 1st TC, 1 men will be voted out. Afterwards, the women on Galu will form an alliance and take out the men (why do you think Brett, Dave, John, and Erik have been so ignored). I think Russell S is Galu's 1st boot, following by at least 2 of the other 4 men (meaning a losing streak ahead for Galu). At merge, the Galu men are going to be wiped out early as Shambo jumps to the other side, and then the Galu women (sans Shambo) will be the next ones to leave. Leaving us with a finale of Monica/Shambo + 3 to 4 of Mick/Jaison/Russel/Ashley/Liz (I think Foa Foa will lose Natalie early merge...maybe because she switches sides?) |

I like your thinking about the two Russells not having a nickname, I Luv Tijuana.
In almost every example of two contestants having the same first name one of them has had a nickname - Lil Bit and Mama Cat, The General and Boston Rob, Boston Rob and Rob Cesternino in All Stars, J.P. and John Kenney, Dan and G.C., even Skinny Ryan and Ryan Opray. It makes sense. It's easier for people around camp to be clear who they're referring to, and easier for the casual viewer to follow. The only example I can find to the contrary is Jenna Lewis and Jenna Morasca in All Stars. From the show's perspective there was less potential for audience confusion there because they'd already been stars of their own seasons. I'd almost bet that the show asks people to do it, which is why G.C.'s (what was it? Gangster Cool?) and even Boston Rob's seemed made up on the spot. But I can't see Ryan Shoulders naming himself Skinny Ryan, so who knows? Interestingly enough, the only time two people with the same name on the same season have ever failed to end up on the same tribe at some point.... was the two Jennas in All Stars. The one example where there weren't nicknames. Unless you want to count Hantz for Russell H. or Dreadlocks Russell for Russell S. (a term that's never been spoken on the show - just by Jeff in his blog) there aren't monikers this season. So does that mean they don't end up on the same tribe? Or someone screwed up and didn't give them monikers? And since some of the past nicknames barely count (Lil Bit was never spoken on the show and Mama Cat was mentioned just a couple of times) one could argue they weren't 'real' nicknames, and say there were other examples of people just going by their first and last names. In other words, the Russells lack of nicknames probably doesn't mean anything. Unless it does.

Similar to Michelle Yi's. I could see Yasmin going and Russell being sent to Galu to find the other idol? This would end the storyline of "She's gonna pay for that statement" |

Otherwise the only ones who have had airtime are Shambo, because she's the new Rupert, and Yasmin, because she went over to the other tribe and made a big fuss. I won't be surprised if Russell S goes first but I'm not sure if it's a woman alliance as the reason why. Yasmin and the other women don't seem all that close. Monica and Laura even laughed about how annoying Yasmin was probably going to be to the people over there. |

Why I don't think it's Erik - I think Erik becomes the new tribe leader, and if he's not the new tribe leader he'll be Dave's pick during a
tribal swap which will come by episode 6.
I think one of the Galu posers will be med-vac'd after the swap and Russell H starts taking shots at them. I think the fact that Kelly and John have been invs and negative is really telling that the editors view them as pussy's. My feelings are that Galu's power structure is broken down like this Shambo is alone and wants to be alligned with B/E John is alone and want's to be alligned with B/E Brett/Erik are alligned and close to Laura/Monica/Dave is the core 3 Kelly is on the verge with those three Russell S and Yasmin are off on their own ala Hunter/Patricia and Mikey/Mary |

I think John will be voted off. There must have been a reason for all that negative shit about John in episode 1.

No way John goes home soon. E1 was setting a storyline up (like, he does some comically awkward things down the line, building his legacy as one of the biggest
chumps in Survivor history.) There's a payoff coming. Until we see it he's not going anywhere.

I don't think a lot of the viewers will remember it by now. He faded into the background in the past couple of episodes.
