ugh this little fat pig is getting more and more annoying each week. The recaps are bad enough but to see 300 confessionals an episode of him repeating "I
AM IN CONTROL!" is ridiculous and is ruining this season.

Did Rupert get as much airtime as Russell has? I was just rewatching PI, and, while Ruppert did get a lot of air time, I thought he had fewer confessionals
than Russell has had. I agree with someone who said way back that Russell is too cartoonish, though the last epi was easier to watch because he had to
strategically backpedal. The hype, however, has just encouraged more meh responses to Russell.

Russell clearly has issues with women. Once a woman shows that she has her own brain (ie Ashley wanting to vote off Ben, Natalie refusing to vote off Ashley)
he gets furious and says he's going to get rid of them as soon as he can, but with his allies Jaison and Mick he's like "LOOK AT MY IMMUNITY
IDOL!!!" and never gets furious at them for having their own opinion.

He only sees women as his dumb lamb-like followers or targets (who are dumb for not being his dumb lamb-like followers).
There is a clip on CBS where he is seething because Natalie told him she wasn't voting off Ashley. He was like 'you don't tell ME what you're not going to do'. He had a similar reaction to Ashley not being blindly obedient. I don't see him having those same reactions to Mick or Jaison, both of whom he also sees as allies. |

Actually, Russell does not seem like that much of a villian to me either - he is having fun being an arsehole and very good at it.
As for Ben, he was an arsehole too, a mactor arsehole, yet, it bothers me when players are recruited. Give me the good old earned it the hard way like <3<3J.T. and some of the earlier winners who actually - gasp - auditioned!

Russell is probably a halfway decent Survivor player but his schtick is kind of boring.

Russell's actually a good player, he's just annoyingly cocky and there's no one actively being pitted against him, there's no hero to his
villain. and that's why he's so unbearable. Fairplay had Sandra, Morasca and Cesternino had each other, Coach had the Jalapao trio + Erin, Corrine and
Randy had Sugar/Ken/Crystal. There's no one so far who is directly being edited as an antithesis to Russhole
