You want old? I'll give you old: I hated that "over the shoulder...." phrase 50 YEARS AGO when I heard it as I was entering puberty and I hate it now. It was stupid then. It's stupid now. I hope a better quote comes out of this week's show so the title can be changed.

I'm pretty much on the verge of giving up this show. I like the musical numbers. I truly do. I love Jane Lynch and have for years. Never get tired of her. Love the little jokes and throw-away lines ("the full Silkwood" was my favorite last week). But the plotlines and especially the characters really don't give me enough to care about them week after week and watching for the musical numbers just isn't enough either.

Have fun enjoying the show. I wish it well, but I recognize I'm not the target audience and it's time for me to leave. I tried liking it. It didn't work. I just had to get this off my chest, knowing I'm probably the only one who feels this way.
