It was so odd to see them develop Chase as a character after all these years of doing nothing significant with him. Cameron was a typical preachy twunt, but it
was interesting to see the way Chase evolved throughout the episode.
I'm looking forward to next week. |

I don't hate Foreman (or any of 'em really), but this 'he's the boss, but he's not, now he is, now he isn't' is reallllllllllly
played out. He either needs to take Cuddy's spot (which would really suck) or go. He's a big third wheel at this point, IMO.
Very interesting episode. I disagree with what Chase did, but agree with what Foreman did. If Chase wasn't a doctor, would have no problem with it, but as a doctor... Definitely draws the lines of morality. |

Atleast we know now why Cameron is gonna leave Chase. I always thought Chase was a MUCH more interesting character than given credit for.
Wilson and House are such a cute couple. |

Yeah, I've never been on the Chase hateathon, but always thought he's been underserved by the plots. It was like by S2 they had to make him have hot
monkey sex with SOMEONE, so the evolution of the pointless C/C showmance which has now sucked up the last two years of his character arc. I have no problem
with him sticking around and finally getting something meaty to do, even if I don't think the char. would EVER have made that choice. ::shrugs::
Also, he was looking mighty dirty, sexy, hot last night, amirite? |

I thought he looked strung out and nasty.
That said, I loved this episode. |

Does any one else got a strong Dexter vibe from this episode?

I think last night wasn't so much Dexter-like as it was poking fun at the cable hits. Wilson's "I am vampire, Sookie" cracked me up.
How did it end? My stupid PVR cut it off just after House came into the office to talk to Foreman. |

If Foreman is anything like House, which House noted he was, he needs to know what really killed the President (or whatever he was). Foreman went to do an autopsy and was blocked by arm guards. However he noticed Chase's name on the sign in sheet (at an earlier time). He confronted Chase about using someone else's blood to come up with a diagnosis. Foreman was probably right in the first place, and Chase's fake test screwed Foreman's diagnosis up and since the President didn't get the right treatmenet, he died. Chase admits to wrong doing and Foreman covers it up by burning the sign in sheet after reflecting on it. |

Chase used someone else's blood so he could misdiagnose the patient resulting in his death.

The idiot dictator asked for it. Chase manned up and made a difficult choice...so did Foreman. |

Ahhh.. Thanks. I assumed Chase did something to flub the test when he immediately volunteered to get the blood.

It was the first time I have liked Chase. He did the right thing. Mugabe-lite needed to be stopped. It is like stopping Hitler after the Kristallnacht and
preventing a future war. Doctor's make life and death decisions about which non criminals they will help, all the time. It isn't hard to go to offing
genocidal war criminals.

In the context of this episode, it wasn't a casual decision. He said that Chase had an easy life compared to his, which was the setup to Chase choosing to
off him which, in turn, was mirrored by Foreman's decision to destroy the evidence. This show does a lot of mirroring.

I did get a huge dexter vibe as soon as the needle went into his neck! Too funny.
I am too sick of the forteen thing though- I was happy when she got up and left. |

So is Taub actually gone (as in the actor left the show) or is he going to return when House gets the department back under his control?

Apparently his trailer still has stuff in it - so I say he comes back. Notice how they mentioned that he will get his license back in a month - cue the return
of Taub.

I'm going to guess everyone else thought last night's ep was boring and pointless? I was about to nod off watching it.
