When he auditioned, he said he trained in many other styles, which led me to wonder how much training and if he was good in the other styles. I was anxiously awaiting to see how he did in Vegas, because there was something about him I really liked when he auditioned. I rarely get excited over breaker/hiphop/krumpers, yet I actually was rooting for this guy and hoping he was telling the truth when he said he had other training.

Then I see him do the cha cha with that lovely Lithuanian girl. I was so pleased. I hope BOTH of them make the top 20 (love Lithuanian ballroom gal, too) AND I would love to see them paired up and hope their clip was a foreshadowing of them being partnered in the top 20 when they were going on about what a great partnership they had.

Yep, this is what happened. That's fine if they didn't want him this year after Ryan making the F4 against Nigel's wishes. My issue, as always, is the way they do it. Last season Ryan was obviously good enough to make it to the end and now this season he sucks so bad that Nigel has to call him out in front of everyone and treat him like he is the asshole?

The other things that pissed me off were them dumping that great contempo kid after his dance for life the way they did and then creaming over "Legacy" and letting him stay. I didn't like Legacy's audition and I still don't like him. I don't see anything special about what he does and he did not deserve to still be there, especially with his attitude. Yet they cut that other kid, with the fantastic solo just because he was so freaking nervous it showed on his face. My guess is they already decided on Nathan(?) the now 18 yo contempo to be in the top 20 and they figured this kid was the same demographic and didn't want the competition.

^^^ Agreed. It's so insulting to the viewers for Nigel & Co. to carry on this way as if we can't figure out what they are doing.

Ugh, I hope Legacy isn't going to be their Chbeeb. Especially when they have Russell the Krumper, who it looks as though he actually has skills in other styles and won't bring his partner down and disappoint if they put him through. Russell making the top 20 and pulling off other styles fairly well will completely make up for Chbeeb, Hok, Ivan, and especially fucking twitch, , all of whom disappointed in other styles, all of whom brought down their partners (save for Hok & Ivan each having just one breakout performance), and all of whom robbed other more talented dancers from going farther, because of being favored by the judges a/o developing a fan base due to the pre-top 20 editing.
