I would take the quote as meaning that she got beat up by the weather, or something like that (such a bad experience weather wise she would never do it again)

They did not have anywhere near the bad weather the people on 19 had but they bitched - moaned - and whined about it a lot. I would just almost bet if The Evil One had to do it all over again he would have aligned himself with Amanda instead of Parvati. Do not read anything into that about her doing better than Parv - just sayin\'
