A few familiar faces like Mia from Degrassi (Elena) Ozzy from 90210 (Tyler) Boone from Lost (Damon) Caitlin from The Bold and The Beautiful (Vicky) Casey from As The World Turns (Ex Boyfriend/Vicky's brother) Its good to know at least half of the cast lol. I really like the brothers (Stephan and Damon) One good and one bad. I dont know who Elena should be with Bonnie is a interesting character, is she a witch? I like her. I dont know who Vicky should choose because I actually like her with both Tyler and Elena's lil brother. The blonde girl (Caroline?) SO ANNOYING!

"Will you come to the party with me?" "Not if you wear that dress." It's the Vicky/Jeremy stuff I could do without.

I actually like Caroline a lot, I think she's a good change of pace from the other super serious characters. LOVED tonight's ep so so much. When Caroline was in the house, I was sitting up, literally on the edge of my seat. I just adore Boone. And I especially like that even though he is a bad villain, they have shown him with the capability of possessing some humanity, like in how he feels about Elena. As much as I love reading about good vampires, it's refreshing to see a bad vampire, one who eats humans and loves playing games with them. My one complaint is that right now Bonnie and the Jeremy/Vicky thing just feel so separate from the rest of the show. Bonnie's storylines all happen when she's alone. And Jeremy/Vicky have nothing to do with the supernatural part. I think these plots could be better integrated with the main plot. I prefer subplots when they stem from the main plot and so neither could happen without the other. I like the Bonnie witch thing, I just wish it felt like it was important to the vampire part of the storyline, caused obstacles for it or something. I'm not crying about Vicky at the end. She was my least fave character. I really hope she's dead because her being bitten and not dying is getting very repetitive.

I like how they are "Watcher-ish" or like the society from the Anne Rice books that observe (Talmud? mayhaps..) and look for signs all passed down from the town forefathers... RIP uncle... I love how it's playing out. I can't wait 'til next week.. How about Whitley as a grandma? I'm so old.....

What the hell, right? Acting isn't great, but CW usually does teen drama fairly well to make up for, and its only five eps old, so I can catch up quickly.

Because there are only so many "animal attacks" you can let them be in denial about. So having them know about the vampires is awesome. And I do think they know it's Stefan and Damon, right? I mean, if the one old guy knew who they were, I'm sure the actual powers in the town know. I'm hoping Vikki gets vamped. Having the hots for a monster can be a bonding thing for Elena and Jeremy. I agree that Bonnie's story feels sort of disconnected right now, but I'm thinking that will change now that the Jasmine Guy eps are coming. I really like the Bonnie actress though, and the Bonnie/Elena friendship is very sweet.

It's definitely not the best show on TV, but it's kinda edgy for a teenybopper show, and it held my interest. Will most likely take the Survivor slot on Thursday nights if this season continues to suck. For fuck's sake, Vicki needs to get some pepper spray or something, being accosted by Damon in like everysingle episode. You'd think she'd realize that maybe it's not such a good idea to go out in the middle of the woods at night all alone! Bonnie's my fave, not because she's the token minority, but she's the witch that's gonna kick everyone's ass. :) Shout-out to Momma Kyle XY for getting work on this show! (She's the sheriff, Caroline's mother.)

On True Blood, you can just verbally kick a vampire out and they have to leave and can't get back in. But like on Buffy, once you invited one in, you had to do a whole spell with incantations and potions and crap to keep them from coming back in. Not sure how it works on this show.
