That just sounds like sour grapes and I'm shocked and disappointed that you would write something so offensive. " I feel sad for her that she wasn't able to get picked, but seriously? Writing stuff like that just sounds pathetic.

I follow her on Twitter, and she's like a big Survivor geek who is friendly with a whole range of Survivors from all over - Austin S12, Jaime S15, Jenna and Ethan, Stephen S18, etc. Not some little LA clique. Whoever prevented Twila and Shane from returning deserves kudos. I guess Danielle took her spot.

Or someone who will mirror Probst's tastes and stack the cast with Ozzy-type guys and women like Shambo? At least casting on Survivor gives women a better shake than the editing.

Is that the thought process? How do people know that Erika/Lynne aren't responsible for casting some of their favorites? Do people believe that Erika and Lynne only cast young bikini-friendly women like Monica? Because they're casting. They're responsible for it all. People who hate that Amanda was cast should also love that Cirie/Sandra/Tom/whomever were cast. idgi

Well maybe Shambo isn't the best example but more women like Kathy, Tina, Twila, Cirie etc. They tend to be better players and not hide behind men. Don't get me wrong I like young bikini babes as much as the next guy, but nobody would die if there were only a handful of them like in the early seasons. But that's all their is now and with the exception of Micronesia, it's probably the number one reason of why men dominate so thouroughly. And grodner obviously couldn't pull of the crap she pulls with ED, Jeff and co. since Survivor is pre-filmed.

Except it doesn't work, given the fact that women get edited terribly on Survivor. Parvati didn't even get a good edit, she was ignored for half the season, and was a low key CP character in the second half. She had the lowest amount of confessionals of any winner up to Micro (and maybe less than Bob). Plus, there are plenty of hot women who should have been cast before Amanda or Parvati. Both of them got on because of their relationship with Erica. Expect Jessica "who?" DeBen to be on a second chance if there ever is one. I don't know what part they played in Danielle getting on S20, but with Amanda, Parvati, Sugar, Candice, Stephenie, etc, did they really need another "hot" girl, especially one who blabbed about her final 2 placement?
