Does this mean that the invisible players as of now will go far?
Anyway, I agree with you and this proves that even though you have a bloated cast, everyone can still be remembered because the editing, just like what you said, is episodic. |

I think the editing has been shifting this way since Gabon. A boring person will still likely be boring no matter how many confessionals they get (like
Jacquie), but at the very least I don't think there was a truly INV person in Gabon or Tocantins. Everyone at least got airtime on their boot episode.
The only problem with episodic editing is that a lot of stuff that is irrelevant in the long run is shown (the Exile alliance in Tocantins, for example).
Also, since they don't really focus on a season-long story, you can have a WTF ending that they try to loosely tie together through a very biased recap
towards the end (Gabon).
Tocantins would have been predictable no matter how they edited it. J.T. basically had that game won at the merge. |

this is the first season of survivor where my coworker asked me who was voted off last week and i literally stood there for 3 minutes trying to remember. all i
could say was this season must suck if i cant remember. and its not like ben is that forgetable, this season just sucks and does not grab my attention.
