Shouldn't the FBI agent be pregnant now? She looked VERY big in her flash forward. 6 months big.

Easily my favorite show of the new season. I'll be watching until April 29, 2010.
Ratings fell off noticeably since Ep 1, though. Only 9.9M tuned in Thursday as opposed to 11+M for Survivor:Samoa (I believe they tied for 1st 18-49). |

and clearly we know why she's so weirded out by it if she doesn't sleep with men.

so maybe we can cut her some slack for being a tidge cranky in the last episode?

NlGHTCRAWLER wrote: The show has established that Suspect 0 and D.Gibbons are two separate people. What if Demitri is connected or is D. Gibbons. What better way to control the info than on the inside. Why was he so far away from Mark after the accident? He claims to have had a Flash Forward. What if he is telling the truth--he didn't have an FF b/c he never had a black-out. Perhaps he is one of them. As for the bird theme, there was that bird that hit the glass, but in the Flash Forward. As well as all these bird references. Janis Hawk anyone? Pigeon, Utah? A literal murder of crows? A big ass cloud that looks like a bird in flight. As for the couple, ugh. I am not a fan of Fiennes, and that chick doctor is too perfect. The mystery father intrigues me. And Jett Jackson is cute as hell. I wish that German prison ward was a regular. I love Jeff Buckley but was that the appropriate song? |

I think most people who had the flash forwards are now working toward them becoming reality out of a feeling of necessity. So perhaps the lesbian FBI agent
doesn't necessarily have sex with a man...perhaps she gets IVF because she KNOWS she's to have a baby.
Other than that, I got nothing. |

So did anyone see what I saw...

Or was I just a little bored out of my mind during the last ep. I looked away at just the last second and when I turned back I thought I saw something
silly... Was there a column floating in mid air on the right of the screen? I doubt that this show will turn out to be that original (what? Aliens are
original? Only if they actually made sense....)

timeline inconsistency?

When the agents search the Audubon Society database to see if crows died elsewhere besides the Munich prison yard, how is it that they get over two months of
data AFTER the blackout? Hasn't there only been a week since the blackout occurred? (Flights just started again, smoking buildings, the FBI funeral,
etc.) I'm willing to suspend disbelief that in the wake of the catastrophe the Audubon Society somehow manages to continue collecting data without any
break, but where did these two months plus come from?

This show is losing me, for all of the reasons Nightcrawler stated, and then this: How in the hell did they exhume Afghanistan soldier's remains, have them
analyzed and DNA compared, and get the news back to dad in just one day??????????????
I was bored and caught myself nodding off several times (I just watched it.) |

I've just caught up with the first three episodes, so bear with my late additions:
I agree with the cumulative list of ridiculous inconsistencies and leaps of logic and writing/editing for a moronic audience (OK, we get it, he'll have a drinking problem relapse in the future!!!) One more future inconsistency they'll have a tough time covering up: The only reason that the agents are referring to D. Gibbons as "D. Gibbons" is because that's the name on the credit card he stole, right? So why would Charlie, the little girl, refer to him that way six months into the future? If she was kidnapped by him (which I agree will inevitably happen), what's the deal, he refers to himself that way? It would be spooky if she knew the guy's real name, but D. Gibbons ain't that. Not only that, but here's another potential dilemma, based on who suddenly knows who in the post-blackout present: Charlie saw Dylan in her flashforward. Dylan saw Olivia in her flashforward. Olivia saw Lloyd in her flashforward. That means that between 10:00:00pm and 10:02:17pm on April 29, Charlie, Dylan, Olivia, Lloyd and "D. Gibbons" will be in the same place, which seems to be Olivia's house where she's cheating on her husband. Am I understanding that correctly? Does the 2:17 from now equal seeing 2:17 of April 29? |

10:00 PM Pacific is what I remember. I tried watching the first episode again today on ABC.com but kept getting an error. I wanted to confirm that they all
said it was the same TIME on the same DAY, also how far along Janis was in her FF. The reason I wondered about everyone flashing to the same time is because
Zoey's "dream" appeared to be the middle of the day. It would have been 7:00 PM in Hawaii. I'm not gonna nitpick about the location of the
sun but it didn't seem that late. Could have been.

It would have been 7:00 PM in Hawaii. I'm not gonna nitpick about the location of the sun but it didn't seem that late. Could have been.the FF for the real D. Gibbons seemed like there was natural light coming into her cupcake shop, too, plus what Credit card company calls at 10pm at night? Unless she called them to tell them to Fuck off. Either way, they do mention that the FF happens at the same moment over the entire world. This bugged me too, until Charlie mentioned D. Gibbons as a bad man (in what I erroneously recalled as a preview for the next episode earlier in this thread.) This how I figure it will play out as to why: a) Charlie knows Dylan (and feels for his well being) and "D. Gibbons" (as a bad man) b) Dylan knows Olivia (and sees her as someone who is helpful, with is calm "I know, Olivia" when she told him he'll be okay.) c) Olivia doesn't know Dylan d) Lloyd possibly doesn't know Charlie nor Olivia.. though I think he knows Olivia by name (just not her face) due to his interest in meeting her In the flashforward, D. Gibbons has kidnapped both Charlie and Dylan. Lloyd knows something is up and Olivia doesn't (possibly she assumes they are safe at a sleepover with 'family' or something.) In Oliva's FF, we see Lloyd leaving the bedroom with his cell phone. During the time that we don't see him and next see him on the couch somewhat stressed looking, he answers a phone call and the caller refers to himself as "D. Gibbons" reminding Lloyd to follow through. Not mentioned/experienced during the FF time, but possibly before is that Lloyd knows that the two have been kidnapped and needs to betray Olivia to save them. The call ends and Lloyd is on the couch thinking about what to do, being distant from Olivia. On D. Gibbons side, during the call, he has both Charlie and Dylan (tied and bound?) present in the room so they overhear the call (learning that the bad man's name is D. Gibbons, though not his real name, it is the alias that everyone knows him as.) After the call, D. Gibbons goes to the kids and with a picture of Olivia tells them "Dylan, Charlie, your safety depends on Olivia." or something on that line. ETA: Maybe the babysitter is with the kids, which would explain why Olivia thinks they are safe and how in the present time, the babysitter is AWOL as she is afraid of this happening. RE: everyone's complaints about the show, personally, when I first heard about it I couldn't imagine this show being anything good and interesting beyond the first episode. So having low expectations, I guess I'm not as annoyed, though the inconsistencies better be explained/stop happening soon.

I'm not too annoyed either. Yet. If I didn't read this thread I probably wouldn't think about the inconsistencies so much.
I also thought it was daytime during the cupcake shop flash... Someone explain how the thumb ring comment by old fart = Janis is a lesbian? I have a thumb ring.. |
