It's three episodes in and I still have no idea what the hell to take from this season. First two fights were awful, and Nelson's fight with Kimbo was
nothing more than a veteran looking for the eventual hole in his opponent's game and exploiting it with minimal effort. Also, I know a ton of people were
complaining on the focus of just house antics during TUF8, but I have no idea who half these people are all about.
One thing I was very shocked at was TPTB allowing Rashad to have Greg Jackson as one of his 'coaches'. Yeah, Tiki, Hector and Rampage are going to out gameplan that guy.

I'm watching, too. So far it's been the Kimbo show. But honestly, I don't mind -- he's entertaining, seems humble, and seems like a decent
dude. Sucks at MMA, but I'd like to see him fight again just because they other fights were garbage so far. Why don't these guys ever have good cardio?
It happens again and again on TUF -- guys get gassed SO quickly.

The bad cardio has always been a problem with the heavyweight division in the UFC.
I enjoyed watching Roy Nelson fight. Yes, Kimbo sucks, but Nelson really does have excellent technical skill and it showed. I can see why Dana must hate him, though. Anyone who would get an end to a fight, not by beating them up for the screaming fans, but by tapping them on the head until the ref is forced by the rules to stop the fight, wouldn't make for a good PPV. |

Kimbo didn't gas. It looked more like the adrenalin dump caused his brain to switch off. One of the things with groundwork is you tend to lose about six
months training in 'fight mode' and although his technique looked good in practice it was far to new to be useful in the fight. He did nothing with his
hips when he was under Nelson, Didn't even try to escape.

Caught last night's show. At least we learned a bit more about some of the other guys on the show besides Kimbo. Rampage sucks as a coach. Being late and
not helping Demico prep for the biggest fight of his life was unprofessional. Then his shitty behavior afterwards by sulking because he "lost"
another fight just showed how much he thinks it's all about him. Rashad and his coaches were awesome in being the only guys to approach and be supportive
to Demico afterwards. Where were his coaches and teammates?
We all knew Junie Browning was a douchebag. Well here's the latest: UFC fighter arrested in Henderson hospital assault A UFC fighter who was featured on a SpikeTV show last year was arrested Tuesday night, accused of assaulting three nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus, according to Henderson police. Junie Browning, 24, was taken to the hospital by two friends after Browning took 16 pills of Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug, in an attempt to harm himself, police stated in Browning's arrest report.
"Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family," police said he yelled to nurses. The mixed martial arts fighter was one of the cast members last year on SpikeTV's "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir." Browning faces three counts of battery on a health care provider, according to his arrest report. He was booked at the Henderson Detention Center, where he was released today. |

Well i disagree with you guys- for once !!
I think most of the seasons first round fights always suck. Weeding out the weak. I like the fact that they are not focussing on drinking and in house fighting. This is what I asked for because I was tired of them making it a soap opera. I think the next round of fights will be exciting. As far as Junie goes I have to say that he is the only person that is in his situation that I do not feel sorry for. This guy is scum and I hope to never see his ugly mug again. When he gets out of jail he will be on some small town fights that "inside MMA" can show us. He had so many opps and just cannot man up and be responsible. I also think Forrest is done. After the humiliation against Silva, I think Tito is going to work him. The only thing that will keep Tito from winning is ring rust |

Oh, great, finally a bunch of people posting here!
I thought I had to keep talking about UFC in the Dancing With The Stars thread!
Speaking of DWTS, anyone watching Chuck on that show? If not, please, you should! He's pure comedy!
Anyway, what I really want to know is what he's getting from Dana in return for being on DWTS. To me, it seems Chuck isn't on it out of his own choice, so Dana must have offered him some kind of a deal or something. And last but not least, Rampage should never be a coach... although he's such an idiot his confessionals are funny. Next to him, Rashad seems like such a smart, calm, collected, nice guy who's actually taking this coaching job seriously. |

I was impressed by little Justin's choke-out of Wes. And I think Wes looks like a big dork, and he always appears to be smelling a bad fart.
As much as I'd like to be rooting Team Rampage, because his confessionals are hilarious and he seems like a nice dude, I'm firmly in Team Rashad's camp. He really seems to be a good coach and a good leader. |

I liked Rashad calling out Rampage on his crappy coaching at the end. He had absolutely no response since Rashad was 100% right. The editing was odd. They
focused most of their time on Matt and Zak, making us think one or both will fight and it ends up Justin against Wes, two guys who have had minimal screen
time.
